Personally I dislike the idea of having AUTO as the first switch position.

Looks like anyone wanting the front bar is going to be disappointed. Also looks like you may want to buy yourself a transmission oil cooler since that one will be fubar. Very small price to pay though for what you are about to do. Also, there may be the possibility that you may have to get yourself a replacement vacuum actuator for the supercharger intake bypass. The one on the TRD charger is mounted on the rear and is made mostly from plastic. From where it's located, there is a good chance it probably would have been crushed against the metal tray in front of the windscreen/firewall. Just in case, it may be wise to check that if you can and if it's damaged, better start sourcing one now. In the event that it may be a bit more difficult to obtain, at least you will have a head start. Completely useless information, but what Build Number have you got?

Hey everyone. It's that time of the year again. That time is the: TOCAU Annual Meet!!! The itinerary is to be located in Post #3 below and will be occasionally updated over the next few days/weeks. It's enough there though to get the general idea of what is going on. Basically the meet will be held on the Queen's Birthday long weekend (JUNE 8 - 11, 2012). For those who are unaware of these Annual Meets, you can have a look at the following threads from the previous meets so you can get an idea: TOCAU NATIONAL MEET 2008 - TOCAU 2008 Mega Meet Media TOCAU ANNUAL MEET (2009) - 2009 Melbourne Annual Meet (Pics) 2010 TOCAU ANNUAL NATIONAL MEET - 2010 TOCAU ANNUAL NATIONAL MEET PICS [QLD] TOCAU 2011 ANNUAL MEET - 2011 TOCAU Annual Meet Pics and Videos So with that said, start planning your holidays guys. I hope to see you there. Let's make it a meet to remember.

I heard vodka in there afterwards.

Even though the reaction is probably what one would expect, I found it funny as hell to watch:
-
I think you will find that because of the presence of the Camry body shape in the US, there will end up being a greater market for it.
-
I thought the word "different" implies that they are not the same.
-
In addition to what you have mentioned, apart from different injectors and all the mounting hardware for the supercharger (brackets/pulleys/belt), about the only other known difference I can think of in the engine bay area is the upper VVTi oil pipe. You will notice this when you see it though. If you are unsure of where this one is, check the FAQ's or do a search on it.

New Owner - Shocking Fuel Consumption...
DJKOR replied to dttsou's topic in Aurion / TRD Aurion Club
I think I might just add something here, if you do choose to use compressed air, please use that canned stuff at the most. Just saying cause I can imagine someone getting an air gun attached to an air compressor and use that. Even still, I'd be less inclined to use canned compressed air, but each to their own. Contact cleaner would typically suffice. Just remember, there is not much to the sensor. Damage that and you won't exactly be happy. -
What Jason (CHA54) mentioned at the top of this page is pretty spot on. In addition to that, I have heard Adaptronic is another working option. There hasn't been much progress on all of this though when used for the Aurion and whatnot simply because the interest does not exceed people's dedication. The guys transplanting the 2GR-FE into their MR2's would be the guys to look at. You will have to search around for them outside of here though. Edit: Pretty much what Trent said above too.

Min for today. Cow unloads her trolley and leaves it as per the photo. The trolley return bay was only three cars over:

This. The issue you had, even if it was a pinhole leak in another hose, is not related to the other well known oil leak. Statements like "this hose has the potential to ruin the motor if not replaced with a better quality one" is like saying "my radiator hose developed a leak and that therefore means that this hose should also be replaced with a better quality one because the original one is of a low grade". This is no different to the following:

Good point. I clearly haven't watched the video for a while (considering I posted this last month). But who's to say that that the nail gun hasn't been modified to vent, rather it has been modified to trigger without the safety trigger? One way or another, there will always be believers and sceptics and I guess neither of us can be said to be correct without knowing.
-
So that airbag cover Steve... do you reckon the airbag assembly itself would be the same size between the Sportivo and non-Sportivo?
-
He clearly pulls out the strip of nails in which you can see the gaps where nails have been removed. The nail gun needs to work it's way past these empty spaces and to do that, it needs to be triggered. If the nail gun was not to advance when he was "firing the blanks" then the act itself would not work. I know these things are all about illusion and whatnot, but something like this doesn't mean that he can't pull off such an act.

New Owner - Shocking Fuel Consumption...
DJKOR replied to dttsou's topic in Aurion / TRD Aurion Club
I wouldn't run any lower than 34 PSI for the 16/17 inch wheels and 36 for the 18/19 inch wheels. Any lower than 2 PSI below that and you are bound to increase wear and fuel consumption. -
New Owner - Shocking Fuel Consumption...
DJKOR replied to dttsou's topic in Aurion / TRD Aurion Club
How are you guys calculating your fuel consumption? Are you using the following method: Litres filled / distance travelled since last fill x 100 or are you simply working it out from your dash cluster display? Even though the dash cluster display provides a reasonable figure, it isn't as accurate as calculating it yourself. Also, you need to remember that when you only get something like 500km or so to a 'full tank', be aware that the fuel gauge only really measures 60 of the 70 litres in the tank. Therefore, your cruising range etc is based on about 60 litres of fuel. If you are indeed getting 12l/100km + for your fuel consumption, something is definitely not healthy with your Aurion. My old Aurion Sportivo and now TRD Aurion (as well as others here) average less than 10l/100km with mixed driving and I don't exactly drive sedately.
