  1. Hoppy's it is I guess from the looks of it. I'll try to get there before Kev though.

    Little Rants

My rant for today.... people that are smoking in the car in-front/beside you when you have your windows down. Even though they may be relatively spaced from you, the smell of smoke always seems to make its way to your car... especially while stationary.
  3. Can anyone else confirm that this is true? As far as I can tell, the drive is the same to me. Everyone feels things differently. This does not necessarily mean that what one person says is applicable to you. I can say a roller-coaster feels boring and slow, yet someone else can say it was exhilarating and fast.
  4. There are tools out there which do all the math for you. The one I use is this: http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp
  5. Just those on the wheel arch? I took off the ones next to the rear lights, the small covered ones that you need to pull out before you can unscrew. Both of them... so four in total. It's basically like you are removing the bumper, but only enough to remove the lights.
  6. Well not technically clips, but you undo the bolts that are on the ends of the bumper up in the wheel arch.
  7. Too true.
  8. I was going to give you a proper answer, but after that statement; RTFM. P.S. Saying that they have no knowledge about current technology and you can't even determine what bulbs are in your car really says a lot. P.S.S. You said on Toymods you read your manual.... obviously you didn't. You may want to brush up on your reading skills.
  9. Not answering the question here but making an observation... it's quite interesting to see this because I've seen this start to happen on a few Aurions already, mine included.
  10. Not that that's any excuse for people not reading and abiding by requirements as outlined in this thread and in the rules, but perhaps it should be altered for the sake of consistency? I'll let Steve know. I can't modify that.
  11. If you want full instructions, refer to the service manuals in the FAQ's. Otherwise, removal is as simple as removing the side trim (it won't affect the airbags) then you lift up te parcel shelf. There's nothing too it. Removing the rear headrests can also help you out.
  12. So guys... Google Music has now moved on from its Beta phase and is now open to anyone in the United States. So basically everything above with regards to a VPN etc apply, however you no longer need an invite to join in on it. No redundancy capabilities to my knowledge either... It may not be a 'feature' as such, but remember that nearly everything you load onto Google is bound to be backed up in some form of an array, so even though I wouldn't completely trust it as such, you can be reasonably sure that your data isn't going to disappear on you that easily. Like SteveAndBelle said, this isn't entirely for everyone but you have to remember that it isn't just limited in use to your portable audio devices. Just think of the convenience of having your entire music collection anywhere that has internet access. For example, you turn up to a friend's place. You want to listen to your music there. Without bringing anything with you, you can simply go to their computer and access your collection.
  13. The clips on it are fairly solid and it does require a little force, however..... ..... have you removed the light grey C-Pillar covers (the ones on either side of the parcel shelf) firstly?
  14. Hi Daryl, could you please confirm that I won't be needing to remove the steering wheel (just turn the wheel to access the screws) if I wanted to replace the indicator stalk with one with the fog switch on it? As I want to use the existing wiring harness will all I need is the relay? No. That statement was only applicable if you wanted to connect a standard fog light switch to the existing wiring harness. If you want to change the indicator stalk, you must remove the steering wheel.
  15. Hence why I said if the hybrid ones looked good, then the clear ones should be no different really. Nup. The blue is not too bold that it stand out. It blended in quite well. What gets a higher preference in car selection. Colour of the car or features. They could if I got my hands on a bulb holder (because it was not included). Unlike the Australian tail lights which have no cutout for a bulb, the hybrid ones can accomodate one.
  16. If the hybrid ones worked well on a red Aurion, I'm sure the all clear ones would be just as good: Sigh. I miss that car.
  17. The reverse lights are mounted on the boot lid. Search the forum here on how to access the number plate lights if you don't know how to remove the boot lid trim. If you can't figure out how to change the bulb once you have moved the trim out of the way, please seek assistance from another person who is familiar with changing bulbs on a car.
  18. Please utilise the search feature: How much can the stock "basic" head unit push?
  19. Looks the goods mate. Now I'm not saying I dislike it, but I am going to be a little critical here. For some reason, the front side-on view like that just doesn't look so agressive. I think this is to do with the design of the pre-facelift where the fron't is just too large and "bubbly". Otherwise, it's beautiful.
  20. Then what are you trying to achieve by correcting people's spelling mistakes? Eg: Spelling and grammar go hand in hand, so no point trying to correct other's spelling mistakes if you are going to continue to make grammatical mistakes of your own. Anyway, any person with half a mind would learn to accept that forums are commonly plagued with spelling and gramatical errors and there is nothing to be achieved by correcting others. Now go continue to have your discussion with everyone else. Believe me, if I was moderating this forum, we would not be having this discussion now.
  21. Stop trying to sound smart you fool. If you want to be so critical of everyone's writing, how about you learn to be grammatically correct and capitalise names. It's Corolla... not corolla.
  22. You guys need to stop relying on the fuel economy figures that your dash cluster shows you. Make some proper calculations with distance travelled and fuel used before commenting on how your car doesn't travel as far as you would like it to simply because it estimates it.
