  1. I know the exact issue you are referring to mate. I have had the same happen to me on multiple occasions. It happens if you manage to accelerate just at the right moment as you are slowing down and the transmission is automatically changing down a gear. I figured it is probably the same action as transmission flare, only in the opposite direction.
  2. I thought the title sounded like something I heard before: Can the Rav4 go on the beach Maybe somewhere to start.
  3. I can't comment for BNO but if I was to add something, it would have to be that having a side firing sub setup would more likely give you a higher dB. I had experimented with various configurations and found that layout to yield better results when seeking volume.
  4. Highlight the contents of my entire post. Otherwise you would have picked up my sarcasm if you clicked reply.
  5. They aren't just made for the Corolla mate. They are a fantastic product. ...if you live in la la land.
  6. I wouldn't be surprised if the rain has cleared the CBD in a couple of hours.
  7. I LOL'ed when you two washed your cars last night.
  8. I was joking. You were asking how it sounds which is not something that words are going to explain. It's like me asking you how Morgan Freeman sounds if I have never heard his voice before.
  9. I haven't heard it myself, but I'm guessing it sounds like BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
  10. I randomly got the following song stuck in my head so now I am listening to it: Lou Gramm - Just Between You And Me
  11. Welcome mate. If you are ever around the Brisbane area on a Thursday night, remember to stop by and say hello. Otherwise if you are free, it would be good to have another member on-board: [QLD] Cruise/BBQ - End of October 2011
  12. I like AUS-VIP ones. It seems that the left4green one is separated to the forum. It'd be nice to have both on the same page. Maybe the mods can juggle the space for shoutbox and status updates. The Shoutbox can also be integrated into the top of the forum index and on individual forums too: http://forums.left4green.com/ http://forums.left4green.com/forum/3-rest-of-the-world/ Edit: I had a look at AUS-VIP, it's pretty much the exact same feature.
  13. The worst I have eaten was a bite of a Balut. Could not bring myself to eat the entire thing. Never... again.
  14. The following thread would have answered your question before you even asked: Sportivo front bumper on ATX?
  15. This is the thing I was thinking of: http://forums.left4green.com/shoutbox Now to see if we can implement it.
  16. Ahem. Did you even look?
  17. Keeping it in 1st eh? Doesn't sound like the following statement is true then: Sounds like you have just explained why you keep getting beaten by your mate. The best way at avoiding axle tramp is to know how to apply the power down to your wheels depending on the conditions.
  18. The way the centre console is assembled is is different between the Camry and the Aurion. I would imagine that you would probably have to swap more than the compartment to make it all work.
  19. Not saying not to ask, but don't get your hopes up. It's like rocking up to your local Telstra dealer and saying you need a replacement screen for your phone. It's not something they deal with.
  20. Now I'm at my PC, I had a look: http://performance.fulcrumsuspensions.com.au/index.php?option=com_vehiclefilter&filter=product&Itemid=250&car_id=175&part_number=QSC26-HZSS3 $2600 eh. Maybe it may work out more efficient getting it from the States. It's interesting though. On TEIN USA's website, it lists the coilovers as not being compatible with the EDFC. I wonder what Fulcrum are on about. Having a look at what this guy said as well, they definitely aren't compatible. Anyways, more information on the specific coilovers here: http://www.tein.com/tech_info/c52.html and an install guide here: http://www.tein.com/tech_info/inst/kc52u.pdf TEIN definitely show them as needing to reuse the OEM mounts and have no part listed for their own 'pillowball upper mount', so maybe this may not be the option for you. I'm trying to decide between Pedders and TEIN at the moment. I reckon I won't need camber adjustment because I plan on riding at a decent height, but having it certainly would be nice.
  21. This procedure is known as 'rotating your tires'. This may help with your traction issue depending on how they compare to each other but one way or another, those tires will wear down too.
  22. Legend. I was trying to figure out how to order a set for myself from the States without paying an arm and a leg for shipping and customs. I was looking at something like USD$1399 (no shipping) and that's having to use the factory Aurion strut tops. That said, I don't think Tein have a strut top mount available that will fit our Aurion. In other words, if you use their coilovers, you won't have camber adjustment. Will need to confirm this though. How much were Fulcrum quoting if you don't mind me asking? The EDFC is their electronic controller that adjust the dampening setting. Basically it is a motorised unit that mounts to the top of the strut.
