  1. Well your budget may or may not be enough. Realistically, how much do you expect to sell your Camry for? As well, you should start searching around to find how much people are selling their Aurion Sportivo's for. You can find some pretty well priced ones out there if you look, and maybe your budget may be just enough.
  2. Shouldn't have said anything about your secret weapon. Should have been like "I just gave it a wash and this is how it comes up". LOL. I'll have to manage to get myself up out of bed on Saturday morning to detail my car in the carpark.
  3. Mick and I would be in for dinner on Friday night. We plan to go out afterwards as well, so the idea is to park the car, have some dinner with those that are doing so as a group, then get into the drinks.
  4. Knowing your luck, now that you want a new set, this set will last forever. I guess if it lasts, it lasts... and if it doesn't, then you can get a better set.
  5. Yep. That is correct. It's just in case you unlock the car accidentally while you aren't near it.
  6. Welcome to the forums mate. Do you miss the turbo after feeling the subtleness of the supercharger in the TRD?
  7. Nice call.
  8. Just remember, if only the traction control light is flashing, and there is no beeping, this is just traction control working. Once you get it out enough so that it beeps as well, then you know VSC has thought it would be time to do some work. Wide open carparks in the wet are usually the best to familiarise yourself with the system.

Ouch. Sorry to hear man. Hope you get it all resolved soon. I'd hate to catch public transport. ... just a bit.
  10. Save yourself the effort from trying to take a photo. The relay is located behind the glove box so the only way to take a photo of that is to pull your glove box out. I can assure you though that this relay could be substituted with an off the shelf variety (ie. $8, which I've done with other relays in the past). I can't believe they managed to charge you that much for it. Not even a high quality solid-state relay would cost that much. Oh well, I guess that was the price you had to pay for that Toyota assurance. Depends on what you really want. If you want a whiter light, I'd just recommend a blue tinted bulb, but these won't look as pure as HID's. Also as well, the output of the white tinted bulbs is usually less, combined with the fact that they would be pretty much useless in fog. It would only be for looks really. Putting HID's in your fog lights though will be really glaring to other drivers, so I don't really recommend that. Ever wondered why some fog lights are yellow? It's because that is the best colour for vision in rain and fog.
  11. That's kind of what I thought, then when you mentioned that their genuine 'relay' cost $97, I figured that this is just one way they could cover the charge. I would be pretty sure even with their markup, a relay from their parts department would cost less than $30, so I'd just imagine this genuine 'relay' is just their wiring harness charge. But if the harness really is there (ie. you purchased the relay and had it in your hands before they fitted it), well they certainly found a place to get some profit.
  12. I'd be available to install that for you should you choose to purchase the lights. At home service, and make it $100. As by my word though, if you can find somewhere else that can do it for cheaper, I'll better them by 10%. If AU8ION is right in that the Aurions without fog lights have the wiring harness already there, I can install a relay and fuse in the actual fuse box itself and run from that. You would still have a separate switch, but it would mean that the fog lights will only come on with the parkers (just like the factory fitted ones), and will light up on the dash cluster to tell you that they are on. Plus, should you ever get a new indicator stork, it will be a simple plug-and-play for it to work with the fog lights.
  13. Might just be the photo, but that M3 style spoiler looks massively undersized for the boot that it is on. It's like some weather-stripping was stuck to the boot.
  14. If you can get a quote, I can beat em by 10%... on site service included
  15. Man... this week is already dragging on and it hasn't even begun yet. Why can't the following weekend come up any quicker.
  16. Welcome mate. Unique car those ones. Not many cars out there with butterfly doors.
  17. I'm going to start cleaning my car on Tuesday. It's only going to get dirty on the drive down there, but hopefully it should make it easier to tidy up once I get there since I'll have limited resources.
  18. It's getting so close. Only 4 more sleeps before all the fun begins.
  19. It's just more pieces to the puzzle. Now he can actually see just how he looks driving an Aurion. What are you waiting for... it's time to upgrade.
  20. Looking good there. Those HID's seem pretty bright eh.
  21. Well I guess I will have to top it with some rolling shots on the cruise during the National Meet in Melbourne then.
  22. I thought today I may as well take some photos. Unfortunately, the car park where I was wanting to take them was slightly occupied and I couldn't get any photos there. So instead, I thought I would try something different... and I think it failed. Add on top of that the fact that I lack photographic skills, I'm not so creative, and I have a crappy camera, and well... this is the end result. Just a little too late int he afternoon as well. Oh well, better than nothing I guess:
  23. Those three words there kind of say a fair bit. Now I don't suggest driving like a hoon and putting yourself and others at risk, but for traction control to kick in on normal dry road (and you have alright tires), you need to push it past it's limits (ie. take a corner way faster than the speed limit). Also, wet roads makes it easier as well.
  24. Sweet looking Aurion. I can't wait to see it in person though.
  25. Seriously though, according to the poll we have had 20 owners with an AT-X/Touring/Prodigy/Presara. All these models are the ones I would say don't have the 'floor board'. Is it that hard of an ask to have one of them just check underneath their boot for 1stKill, just to confirm his question? Come one, just go to your garage and then post back.
