  1. Lol yeah, Rice mods are only good if your car still looks clean. A Body kit to enchance visuals but not overdo it. Rims as long as they're not chrome lol.
  2. Yes welcome to the forums, you'll find that everyone on here are very friendly. What a great database of knowledge just waiting at your finger tips hehe. Enjoy your stay and hope that you feel at home :D
  3. Cool 2pm is awesome that means I don't have to swap work shifts. I can still meet you guys and go to work at 6 :D
  4. How was I so lucky to have gotten it delivered on friday? The waiting must be killing all you guys lol. Sorry for rubbing it in ;)
  5. Kenji

    lip/skirt

For a 2003 corolla the part number for the skirt is 0815812810 and it's unpainted, it's about $300-$330. Sorry I don't know the part number for the front lip
  6. Lets definitely lock it in for the 29th of June Sunday and we'll decide what time we're meeting yeah? So it's clear that there'll be something happening and so i'll swap my shift at work or give it up kk. Is everyone cool with that?
  7. Well myself and Guni have already booked ourselves into the dyno posted at http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...st&p=245449 Hope to see others there :D
  8. Depends on where you are with the stubby antennas. Of course a shorter antenna will not be as good as the original 41cm one, though you won't notice a difference with quality unless u go undercover parking etc. The shorter the antenna the weaker the signal will be. In saying that you can get an adjustable stubby antenna which will give u the options to extend the length for better reception if need be. Shortantenna ebay store is a nice seller, check them out.
  9. Hey guys don't tease. We have to learn how to defend ourselves somehow hehe. He went with the "WAY OF THE NINJAH"
  10. It's like the cap included with the TRD CAI. Just go to autobarn or some auto place and get 6mm vacuum caps. I ran it straight with the Drift pod, no point trying to force the TRD pod into the little space. The Drift pod is about 2" shorter and it clears the foglight with like 3 cm. If you put the TRD pod on it'll definitely be squashed and will eventually melt. See this post http://toyotaownersclub.com/which-pod-filter...se-t467-15.html and look at the TRD pod after a few months of usage haha.
  11. Yes I'm a fast one hehe. I'm using the drift pod because I couldn't find an apexi power intake and frankly didn't want to spend $50 more for the same results. I did my research before I got everything :D
  12. If you've got ur fogs covered up, the mudguard under the car attached, and drive smart while it's wet then you've got nothing to worry about. I don't think the oiled pods will offer that much more protection if you're gonna drive through a massive puddle at 60km/h If you see a high level of water on the road, drive through it slowly and you'll be fine
  13. It sounds awesome Whitestivo:D You can definitely feel the extra power at the top end. It makes it alittle easier to maintain LIFT while shifting but not by much. If you couldn't do it before the CAI, chances are you still can't do it now with it Get someone to help you install it, makes it faster than doing it by yourself hehe. You'll need a 6mm Vaccum Cap and a new Pod because the TRD is SOOOOOOO BIG and won't fit unless you take out your foglight. Best options are Apexi Power Intake or the Drift Urethane Pod. I bought the Drift pod because it was proved that it has the biggest increase in power due to better air flow and has very good filtration and is only $40. Get the vaccuum cap and Drift pod from autobarn or you can get the apexi pod from somewhere. I say these are the best options because they're dry pods and don't require oiling as K&N and others do require oiling and don't provide as good filtration. http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/filters_test/2/ Also oiled pods are not good for our MAF. http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...st&p=156229 If you need more help installing it go to http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...p?showtopic=711
  14. I quite enjoyed that one:D Damn he had some nice moves. Hydralics in his body haha and such flexibilty
  15. Myself and Guni have already signed up for the day :D Who else is going?
  16. As mentioned before 29th is fine, as long as it's being organised and it'll go ahead I'll swap my shift over with another day
  17. imo.. id stick with trd... not worth the trouble.. selling and ordering ces.. but if the kw is that important for you.. stuff the cai.. go get a SC... :P anyway.. let us know wts the trackin code on ur parcel. so the other guys will know. EDIT: oooo the WA guys will be ready for the mega meet!! niiiiiiiiiiiiice! It's all Installed now and it goes well:D CJ171615787US was my tracking number. And yeah i'm gonna stick with the TRD one, get coils first then get CES headers and exhaust and think about changing lol. Wouldn't take long, unbolt and rebolt haha
  18. Well my TRD CAI arrived yesterday while I wasn't home. It's now here with me :D. Though I'm not sure whether I'm going to use the TRD or CES CAI.
  19. Internationally dispatched on the 9th of June, should be here soon :D
  20. I don't mind the 29th of June exams are over and with that much notice I can take work off, as in swap it for another day. Lets get this happening and set a date and time. :D
  21. Like many users have said, if you don't drive into submerged water and you have the mudguard on under your car, there'll be no problems with a CAI sucking in water to blow your engine. Just gotta be careful of where you drive hehe.
  22. I've got a black sportivo with gold rims hehe. I've got a blue deck but not sure with what I wanna do with the console and dash. But I've already purchased red door sills:(
  23. Has anyone changed the tacho to blue before on the forums? I was thinking of doing the whole internals blue with the centre console and dash and door sills blue just so they all match my headunit. If not then I guess i can have 2 tone. Centre area is blue and sides are red hehe. Might be a good contrast :D
  24. People actually buy this stuff wtf
  25. I'll have to point Silva back to this thread, but he was telling me the other day a minimum of about 5 would be needed on each item for it to be worthwhile for CES to set up the jigs and bend the pipes. The manifold I think would be an exception, but it would only help me thinks. I thought that they always had stock on hand, that's what they said in the emails they sent me
