  1. Just because you have money doesn't entitle you to be arrogant either. You do not need to take your car to Toyota under warranty, so long as genuine parts are used, warranty remains. Did you take it to more than one dealer?
  2. It generally is, due to the labour required to do so correcty.
  3. You seem to be a customer that most places would want to get rid of based on attitude in the first place. However if you don't like the service somewhere, go elsewhere. There is no way possibly to keep every single customer happy, but your attitude depends a lot as to the level of help you will get. There are plenty of dealers out there that have great reputations and others that don't. If your car is out of warranty take it to a trusted private mechanic, it will cost you less and they can still use genuine parts.
  4. Yeah, because totally re-designing a head rest is much cheaper than using one that has already been in production.
  5. Was good to meet a new face in Michael(neverfurphy) last night. Hope you had a safe drive back to the Sunny Coast and look forward to seeing you at more meets in the future..
  6. neverfurphy: I should probably clarify that this is an inside joke that you will understand better if you turn up to a meet. ^This guy...the sole perpetrator of the heinous acts described above!
  7. Unsure, I would have to check in my 3S-GE manual, too tired to do so at the moment.
  8. They leak very slowly from the o-rings and will most likely burn off before they pool. Easy and cheap to fix, the o-ring costs about $4.50 from Toyota.
  9. All she knows is what Mick and I have taught her. That leak is either the valve cover seal or the distributor o-ring, most likely the o-ring as you have been moving the distributor and it's right above the gearbox. Bridging those terminals sets the timing back to base timing, it is designed to allow easier adjustment without the ECU altering it. Best left to professionals unless you are confident with a timing light.
  10. To me the Atara looks very Honda Accord-esque.
  11. Not possible. It is a camry ^^^This is true, it will always be slow too!
  12. The current model tail lights fit from memory and they are clear.
  13. You're on your own champ, you won't be getting any help from us anymore, your buddy Gabe can help you with everything.
  14. Way too last minute Daryl. So I should bring headphones tonight Corey?
  15. Still needs more low and I want those seats!
  16. RWD will never compare to FWD! you will die trying! adding sports brake lines, pissy see through to the pad callipers, Motec, Suspension, Strut bars, nolathane bushes, Tien suspension etc doesn't make it a TRD! your quite immature if you think it's a TRD or FWD will handle better than a RWD, here is a nice little easy to understand video. I'm over these forums, if people are under the consensus FWD is the king and an Aurion (actually the same as USA Camry) is some kind of super beast of a car. FFS it's a FWD Camry with pulling issues and interior rattles! Bye... :D
  17. They won't stamp it because those oils are required to be changed at certain service intervals for a reason. You are adding another 10,000 km to the oil age which is not part of their specified service program. It should still be a fixed price service unless it was an early 09 model. If you had issues with those components would you expect warranty?
