  1. Don't suppose you were parking at the time?
  2. Penrite 10W40 will be fine, I ran it for years.
  3. There sure are, head to you local Autobarn, Supercheap Auto or Repco for ranges and prices.
  4. 3.6L W/ Filter. 3.4L W/O Filter.
  5. Haha , awesome, I tried to drive mine without the driver's seat but couldn't see over the dash :P
  6. I'm using Denso IK22 Iridium's but hey will not really suit your stock application. Not sure about those leads, haven't had anything to do with them, I am using NGK leads currently, however, Cmapion and Bosch should be fine.
  7. #3 looks sooty, possibly combustion gases, may not have been seated correctly. #4 looks like the spark plug tube was loose. This is a handy little chart, however it is aimed solely at the electrode end.
  8. How much does it move? It needs to have a little sidewards movement but not a lot. The Aurions have a very similar issue.
  9. Stainless would not be my first choice, cracks and warps under heat.
  10. ^^^ Have you actually tried taking it to Toyota?
  11. A mate of mine used to buy heaps off them. Maybe you should call them. Also it has been a public holiday as well.
  12. Wait, what? The timing belt is crying? As in squeaking/squealing? Are you sure it isn't an accessory drive belt squeal?
  13. The V6 from the Gen 4 to 5 is the same engine, so realistically you will obtain the same performance and equal fuel economy.
  14. Gen refers to years. Gen 4 97-02, Gen 5 02-06. Sportivo, Altise etc. just refers to the trim/suspension package.
  15. Ease up on the CAPS LOCK, makes things horrible to read and actually is considered as yelling on forums. ;)
  16. If the Hi-beam light is working there is a good chance the stalk is fine since you have changed it with the same issues. You could use a test light to check if there is power at the plug where the globe connects. If there is no power, then there is the possibility of wiring damage. There is also 2 filaments in the low beam globes, one is on for low beam and the other is for the high beam, they should never both be on at once.
  17. Chris, you are very lucky I have a wife :P
