  2. some where up in qld if your willing to drive that far hehe
  3. the dude they did service didnt really care what they did, only with the claim pretty much, varies at different places
  4. hehe, when you do a claim, just put the stocks back on. thats what a couple of my mates did, but it was engine wise
  5. SIGN FLIPPERS?!!!!!! Co2 ones would be awesome and illegal, but in the end its a added cost to teh annual bill of rego, insurance and fuel
  6. Hey, i just wanna know if anyone has debadged their paseo (possibly gen 1) with the stock spoiler on and if they can upload a pic, i wanna see how it looks before i debadge my car and what social effects will it have (i hate people constantly asking "nice integra" when they look at the front, even though it doesnt look like one)
  7. dont forget aero dynamics and possible plate rattle. Oh a quick note i found out with the magenet P plates (its legal to have them on your windshield in qld) i stopped using them cause they get stolen and they tend to scratch you car slightly
  8. im moving there in a few weeks, im moving into a new house at the corner of the round about and ive seen that place before, the house in construction in the back ground
  9. i was planning the same as Djkor and pay straight up for personalised plates, i was about to have my real name on it (its very uncommon in australia) but thinking about it, on a white junk, think about people stealing it? (my front plate holder looks unsafe) but eventaully i will get one because your the only one that has it, your plate is associated to your car "looks its the [2 l8 v8] supra" <---My friend's plate than "its silver supra" this demonstartion can be seen by "eyecandi" civic driving around forest lake. but in sydney, i dont think its worth 500$ a year, think about the mods you could get, personally if i lived down there i would get it after i got all my mods.
  10. i saw a aurion, blue i think. today at the college, anyone got any kids or was picking up someone at FOrest lake college? could that be you esexsix?
  11. Sweet clean car, excellent body kit, i quite like the pods for the fronts, one thing i wanna see is, show me your trunk!
  12. im slightly interested in this aswell, how much will it cost without installation (for both springs and shocks) and where can i get some
  13. There are a couple of ways of doing this, test it before actually doing this to your car, i see some people using really expensive double sided tape, making sure that the surfaces are both clean and free of grease, apply the tape onto the badge first then onto your car and hold for 30 seconds or so. another way is to use contract glue, the expensive stuff, not that stuff you get at woolies. mark out where its going onto the car, brush it on (masking tape may assist but remove whilst still wet or you get little stringy bits) both badge and boot, wait till try making sure no dirt flies onto it when wet and press together and hold for a while. The contact glue was used on my toyota badge by a professional as i watched him do it and the tape was done by my friend when he ordered a holden badge as his one was pried off. But test on scrap timber or metal to see which one suits you, its a shame if it fell off or gets stolen. The double sided tape is more neat, but the contact if done properly lasts for ages.
  14. i did a 17 with everything out and a 22.6 with all my audio in, not official at willow bank though, just know a dude with a HUGE 1/4 mile drive way
  15. on zazz tonight is perfUME!!!! but i saw a couple of days ago was a dell computer system for a couple of hundred it was sold out very quick,. some of the stuff is just funny to look at like the finger drum kit hehe

  18. Im just curious of whats people's 1/4mile time, i do a shameful 23 or more seconds, i cant remember. all the extra weight makes me feel special
  19. Pulsar SSS, Modding car but getting sold, too much money Paseo 1993 * running this car into the ground
  20. hey i was just wonder, do i have to actually post or can i just rock up, cause i work in the "hospitalities industy" and the times vary and is it always at the aquatic centre?
  21. I just started another audio project, i had 2 sealed boxes and an amp in the middle (i know it is upside down, the grounding is on the wrong side), 4 6.5 in the back and a 4" in the front. well now i am upgrading to inverted woofers and moving the 6.5 inch rears to the fronts replacing the 4", however the fronts only fit 4" so i chose to fibre glass First i removed on my door panel and taped it up, making sure to get into every surface area and over extend it to make sure no splashes happen I Mix up some epoxi resin (can get it at any hardware store, bunnings have fibreglassing kits with everything you need) and place the fibreglass over lightly and i dabbed it over the fibreglass making sure there isnt any air bubbles and that it is soaked nicely (i have no pictures cause i had only 30 minutes to apply cause of the amount of catalyst i used) This is the first layer done (single layer made it feel like thin glass or dried glue, it tends to get hot as it dries) This is the 2nd layer lastly the 3rd layer, thick enough to hold the speaker up and not snap whilst playing music but still thin enough to clip onto the door. by the time it is time to remove it, it is fairly hot, its like touching a computer that has been on for a 3 hours. I took it easy making sure to get rid of the excess and slipped my hand under it and lifted it up, This is whats left of the effect of using the door as a mould My solution, acetone!, slightly stripped some of the polish, but ill polish it up later Lastly trimming and sanding. sanding im gonna do some other time, parents arnt happy having glass dust under their feet. and the result is a clip on pod now all i need to do is attach the spacer and use builder's bog or filler to fill in the gap and sand, and im done.
  22. I cant remember, i was slightly intoxicated. :) walking not driving and just a quick question is that heathwood in the back ground eSEXSIX?
  23. i had my hub caps stolen, they just have nothing to do or just want a quick 20$, lets all get trunk monkeys! This one time, some kid kept spraying my car, i waited in the dark and ran at him when he appeared (wish i had a shotgun). If there is a northfield near by, they do pretty much anything, one of my mates did a spare tyre relocation, to under his car with padlock and all, fairly expensive but he wont tell me. have a check with em and see if they can secure it more or other. May very from store to store.
  24. while your at it changing the sparkies, think about getting a flame thrower exhaust system hehehe. shoot some fire out of your car.
