Good grief.... are you sure this is your daily driver? The JZX wagon would be a bit more streetable surely?!?

I love it :)

this is AWD, wagon spins the rears pretty easily due to the VVT 1J making max torque so early. Only downside is the forester uses more fuel :P

sweet jesus look at that power curve! love it when boost is like getting smacked in the @rse by a truck :D

also looks like that 6 speed is pretty close ratio, very nice. Just gotta watch those dodgy Suby drivelines and refrain from launching off the limiter as tempting as it is to give yourself whiplash :P

now to crank this out of an RB25DET without making it a diabolical daily driver...easy :)

I doubt the 6-speed will break anytime soon, they're a hell of a lot stronger than the 5-speeds and I'm only running a full face clutch.

I'm thinking about putting the same turbo and some sard 650's on the wagon now and going for 300kw ATW in that.

Just have to get my hands on a spare stock turbo manifold so I can cad up some exhaust flanges to make a nice new manifold.

small update...

Ever since I collected the car I thought it had an exhaust leak somewhere. Had a chance to remove the undtray and have a proper look the other week and found the main source of the leak, which was quite large.

Subaru's run an "up-pipe" from the exhaust manifold to the turbo, the gasket at the manifold to up-pipe flange was blown out, and leaking enough to melt the inner guard liner etc with the exhaust gas :P

So... the car did 240kw atw with a fair amount of exhaust gas escaping before it got to the turbo, via this gasket" http://users.tpg.com.au/adsl0uxv/gasket.jpg

Have since sourced some 7-layer stainless gaskets, faced the flanges and re-assembled. Car spools a fair bit harder now and exhaust doesn't pop and crackle so much

I'm not going back to the dyno until I get the ECU unlocked so I can tweak it a little ;)

I dont expect much more power though, just a fairly significant change in the curve and less melted plastic bits :P
