Lag in Rev Range

Got a little problem with my Stivo

after installing my sri

i noticed a little lag in the rev range between 4500 - 5500 rpms

it was fine when i had the stock box but after installing the sri it started happening

does this happen to any1 with a cai or sri?

should i reset the ecu or is it the sri?

didn't you take out the battery to remove the stock airbox? coz if you had the battery out for more than a few mins, it would have reset it. Just drive it the car around for a little while to see if the ECU adjusts.

Sure it's not the increased effect of lift due to SRI making low end seem laggy ?

Maybe due to the engine bay heat!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Could be anything, could be a bad batch of fuel. I hit a bad batch of fuel and the bottom end sufferred quite badly.

Denz i would say do a ecu reset. you should do one after every mod

yeah i did all those things

disconnected the batt a few times a drive it like i always do

it seems normal only when i rev up to the rpm range that it happens

ill maybe try reset it again then see what happens

oh btw, does it happen when the engine is cold or only when it's warm?

Air flow meter dirty?? if your car is hesitating a bit...like have a black spot when reving the car then its your air flow meter that doesnt like the extra air comming through...correct me if im wrong.
