Hi Folks.

I am a guy from HK. I drive a 03 Runx.

Nice to meet y'all.

I have a question....I want to know if I want to get a header for my car, which brand(s) you recommend the most?

TRD? Trial? or something else?

Thanks.

lol he means extractors. the TRD headers will fit and provide good performance but are a little expensive. if you got the cash then go for it.

I too am not from HK (why are we all saying this?)

But to answer your question, the PPE extractors from the USA are looking promising. I would avoid all else except for TRD, PPE and ported stock manifold. Thats the order of most expensive to cheapest, depending on factors such as shipping costs from the USA and machining costs in HK.

I guess that was part of the question's opening..lol

btw, Isnt TRD parts pretty cheap in HK? compared to aus.

I just got back from HK a week ago...and they have a TRD store full of goodies!

CES do headers that yield better gains than TRD ones. Northy would be the one to talk to about them as he got rid of his TRD headers and replaced them with CES for a quite notable difference.

Where?!?!?!

I'm from HK but living in Aus. I know there's a few performance shops in Mong Kong (near women's street) that are quite reasonable.

Sorry to get off the topic, i just fished out the details they gave me.

Tom's & TRD Shop

82 Shantung Street, Mongkok

Tel: (852) 2783 0993

I blew all my money before a friend took me there, apparantly they only have 2 new short shifters left! Only like $215AUD with the exchange rate! Absolutely spewing i didnt get one!

Good luck find the store, maybe you can pick something up for me ;)

I took a look from the CES website but I didn't see any description regarding the header... (maybe I missed something...)

BTW, how much is that approx.?

That's a pretty good shop. (I mean they charge relatively reasonable)

You mean short-shifter for RUNX/ALLEX/FIELDER, right? I got mine from somewhere else, it took me 2 months to order them from Japan. (another friend of mine waited for 3 months). It's because TRD stops producing them already, so they will only do it when there enough demand... I think if you see one and you are thinking to get one, stop thinking and just get it, cos it's getting tough to find a brand new one.
