Please help with my corolla II jap import!!!

hey guys i need some ideas or if you know anything about these cars i just picked mine up and its runnin fine but i want to fix it up unfortunatley i know nothing about these cars lol :P this is my first toyota. Its a Toyota corolla II EL-43 hatchback jap import its got a 1.6ltr 16 valve any ideas ppl please i would really appreciate it

where are you located?

I have never seen one of those before, but my guess is that it has a 4A-GE in it, and if so you will find a wealth of knowledge on 4A-GE's in most Australian Toyota Web Forums.

The front end seems very AE111-ish... I'd say 4AGE engine too.

How are you planning to fix it up? What exactly are you trying to do with it?

I saw one of these the other day and I saw the Corolla II part and I was like WTF?! but then i saw some on carsales.com. Havent really looked at them to much but I would agree its prolly a 4 AGE engine too.

edit: yep, here you go, runs a 5E motor same family as local starlets etc
