radiator hose

Bought a 2005 Corolla last week. I love driving it, it’s very comfortable. It sounds like a tram (electrical) but BP Ultimate is taking care of that slowly – I’m starting to hear more engine power.

My only concern is the radiator hose (see attachment) it has a double layer of rubber meaning this hose burst, and that extra layer is covering it. That’s what happened to my old car. I went to a Toyota Dealer and ask them about it and they said “it’s normal, that’s just the way it is,” ‘fukk me!’ This car was inspected by mechanic before I bought it, he also said it’s normal. Again fukk me! What do you guys think?

it looks like all toyota hoses it may be in an aea where alot of things could rub on it think of it as a sacrificial shieth so as not to damage the actual hose
