Hey guys,

I took my friends DC5 for a drive and really loved the momo steering wheel and now theres one up for sale.

Any idea if it would fit on our ZZE123? and somehow remove the H badge to put a toyota one there.

Thanks

I'm pretty sure you have at least a drivers side airbag right? When that is the case, swapping your steering wheel will completely render your airbag useless as it will no longer be there. Sure you can fit the steering wheel, but you SRS warning light isn't going to disappear.

Edit: Was going to say what micky_tee said below (as I have heard this numerous times), but couldn't locate a document to support my statement.

It is illegal to fit a non-airbag steering wheel to a vehicle factory fitted with an airbag steering wheel...

being a DC5 its safe to asume the steering wheel will be airbag equiped, only thing is it would have to be installed by a professional so you can get the airbag to work.

As far as im aware it is totally Legal to change your airbag steering providing the one you are swaping with has an air bag as well. Not sure where you can get it installed from though.
