i was watchin the v8s a while back and i wondered why they didnt drift round some corners?

thers probably a good reason not to drift but i recon it would look cool.

Drift is style driving and you won't get a faster track time doing that around corners in a track.

Not sure if this kinda fits the bill but:

ok well to make it easy.

drifting in aust you get judged by speed, angle ect.

and if u can pass another car

in v8 spercars it is simply a race to the finish line.

try driving round twisties in the wet where you lose traction and take longer to brake and time yourself.

then do it in the dry when you have traction and time yourself.

dry will be quicker, loss of traction slows you down and in drifting they aim to loose traction.

sure it would look cool if they did break out into a drift but they wont.

if you like drifting head to a driftaust or drift nsw event next year.

it is 30 bucks for entry and you get to sit right up against the barriers.

highly recommended.

And also drifting a v8 supercar with the amount of power it has can also be quite dangerous when theres about 30 odd cars near you :P

v8 super cabs dont have that muchpower i mean robie bordger or wat ever his name is had like 900+hp in a como and v8 SC only have like 600+hp but yeah not fastest way around a corner n it would make it like nascar with that many cars drifting as once (multiple car smashes gotta lovem)

wouldnt that be a fun form of racing 30+ cars drifting togther givem a few laps first to finish (only car to finish) wins

If you cbf then you seriously got to stop creating threads like this. We already have one here call stupid thread.

If you would have learnt something by now other than why V8s don't drift and having gt stripes is a no no for a ZRE is to post at appropriate places so as to not get flamed or have personal nasty remarks made towards you. Undoubtedly, we have more mods wannabe than we do members who don't take lightly to "stupid" questions so I suggest using those filters of yours call a brain and think a few times before posting.
