I cant seem to find it on the TRD website. only place ive managed to get a price is:

with the exchange rate, you might be better off looking at the ces, made for your car and quality product.

i got mine for 315, when the exchange was 0.98!!

obviously been out of action for a bit Azz man ..... Bruce sold the business to toyota NZ in toyota's bid to reclaim the TRD brand ..... and they DONT deal with anyone outside of NZ anymore since toyota took over.

Facts:

CES CAI sits lower in the bumper well, so the hydrolock freeks might be scared by that a little.

CES CAI is 3" m/s HPC pipe as apposed to 2.75" powder coated pipe on the TRD.

CES CAI is purpose made for the Aussie cars, so no need to block off unused tubes, etc...

CES CAI is $512 vs whatever exchange rate you can get the TRD for.

Speculation:

CES CAI gives bigger topend gains than TRD, however TRD feels beefier in the mid range IMO.

CES CAI is noisier IMO. Happy to be corrected on that, it's just my opinion.

Either way I think you would be very happy with the results. :)

I emailed CES arnd oct last year about their CAI and catback so i dont know if these prices still apply so best to double check with them.

Anyways heres the email they sent back:

Our Cat. Back systems are available as a direct bolt-on (generally only) for Sportivo's [2ZZ-GE motors] in 2.1/2"... yours would {be similar} but different sized pipework and unfortunately we haven't had to date enough enquiries to arrange to jig up a set system for send away item. Smaller pipework sizing could be arranged in either 2" or 2.1/4".. it would be much the same price.. as the 2.1/2" cat back system - same muffler and resonator.. (in looks) different sizing.. so it could be arranged. Photo shot (example) next email (so not too big a download..).

Allow a lead time to fabricate. Due to the custom nature of the order we would require up front payment, as it would be a purpose built order.

How about that, I didn't know they had a purpose made 1ZZ-FE CAI. :P

Wow, 2.5" looks so much smaller when compared to the 3" model. :o
