Hi Guys,

This guy is trying to sell me a universal Remus muffler with a 2.5in inlet but the strange thing is that there are no holes to the inlet!!!! This didn't look right so i didn't take it.

what? no holes?? HAHAHAA... damn, thats weird, u sure it was genuine tho? lolz..

i dont think it is ey, if u wanna buy those kind of muffler just for the brands, go to asian countries and have them made up!

im using one of them at the moment, a double tip muffler, with HKS brand.... does it look genuine? no one on the streets know! and it sounds damn deep! hehehehehe

and ive seen many of the remus mufflers, and yeh, just gotta be carefull mate, dont fall into the hole! hehehe :)

you sure that's not a baffle?

When I touched it I'm sure that was the face of the muffler. Is a baffle the walls inside a muffler?

You cut the hole to suit the amount of noise you can live with.

You can go as far as the inside of the 2.5" pipe will let you. :)

I would lean more towards this answer. Probably had to be pulled off the production line as a dud, and some guy has his hands on it now.

Yeah i had a look and it looks real to me.....I'll get him to drill a few hole in the inlet and see whats inside.

      1996 Trueno XZ - Is it worth modding?

      Hi everyone, new member to the group and owner driver of a nifty little Toyota Sprinter Trueno XZ, now this was my cousins car, I bought it off him and after various drives, I have come to the decision that this needs alot of love.       It's possible that it could be something fouling or dirt build up, dry, or a broken mechanism, so have a look and give the mechanism some lubrication, most likely though, it'll be the actuator.       Query about the correct rotors for 2006 ACV40 Camry.

      Hi, I'm looking at a set of front rotors for an ACV40 2006, 2.4L Camry. I got a good price on some RDA's at Sparesbox. However both RDA8112 and RDA7686 show as for my car and I'm wondering what the difference is and if there were changes to the rotors during the model production. So does anyone know which rotor is the correct one? Many thanks in advance.

      Your solution is akin to suggesting that switching to a different car manufacturer would resolve the issue. However, not everyone shares the same enthusiasm for using an iPhone as you do.
