Just explain to the family that Monday is a pulic holiday, and everthing will be sweet...worked for me (I took lessons off the bullit... :P)

Well, yes, I had forgotten about Monday as well so it might just be a case of "hey honey, how about Saturday we take a little drive towards the Gold Coast ... there's some lovely little "back roads" we can have a squiz at ..." :)

Then what do you know? "Look, honey, a racetrack that I never knew existed ... and look, there are cars running around down there, why don't we have a little look-see?" :P

Should work a treat.
