Hey Fella :)

Just do it, the front bar is a great thing and you will notice a difference for sure probably more so with the luxury spec suspension tune than other with a Stivo/TRD. You should notice less axle tramp flatter cornering and sharper turn in.

We’ve seen a real world experience of the difference these bars can make. Same road same day. there was my car with both the tower bar and anti roll bar (plus a few other things that would make a difference lower suspension bigger rubber etc) Paradigm's ZR6 which has the front bar and Scottataxi's SX6 which is stock and the difference was quite measurable on that road arrr was good fun haha

yep huge difference, you flat as a tack through the twisties and pulling away, me felt like a rowboat (understeer, body roll)just for work probably not worth getting one but when we go on cruises Im left behind.

HA yeah it was really interesting to see the difference in the cars through St Marys, was epic fun glad we got rid of that SV6 though before we started the road, well that is some of us anyway aye Foss? haha Still i can't shake the image of that AWD coupe squirming and getting sideways every second corner in front of me, good trip!

You can definitely notice the difference. The car is much more centred around corners. The reduced body roll is amazing. I'm surprised how much this bar made a difference.

There are always the same corners I take and driving into those sharp turns, the car feels much more vertical than actually rolling into corners but this could also be because of the upgraded rear sway as well and now the front one to compliment it makes it a much more pleasant ride. IMO all Aurions should came out of the factory like this. The car feels much more solid and a much more enjoyable ride.

Yeah for sure they compliment each other very well and do seem to offer great bang for your buck, i for one am very pleased i fitted these to my car!

A general wondering before I consider on actually buying this.

How much closer is the bottom part of the car to the ground with the rear sway bar?

The rear sway bar doesn't make any difference mate.

Coz I'm looking at a pic at the bottom bit and it seems to stick out a bit..

Glad there won't be any problem there then.. :D

The rear sway bar from UR is exactly the same shape as the factory RSB so it doesn't sit any different to the factory one. If it was different, it wouldn't fit. It is 3mm wider though, so you will have the bar sitting 1.5mm closer to the ground if that makes any difference to you

Old topic, new comment.

I installed a front strut brace on my '06 SX6 tonight, and be damned if I can notice any difference.

Does look nice though.

I suppose I'll order the 19mm rear bar next and see if that does the job.

What suspension are you running? If it's still all stock with stock springs then yeah, you'd be hard pressed to notice it all that much. Body roll in the standard car is fairly terrible so just a strut bar on it's own won't do miracles.

I noticed a small improvement when I installed my strut brace, a local roundabout was my testing method, dispelled the "placebo effect?" thought :)

Yep roundabout will show it up! Only a small improvement on it's own but in conjunction with other parts (ie stiffer springs/coils, rsb and decent tires), the results can be fantastic!
