camry duck tail style spoiler.

hey all.

does anyone know if the camry boot lid is the same as the aurion? want to get a spoiler like the ones found on the camry sportivo. (the small duck tail one)

any help is appreciated. =)

I don't know if the boot lids are compatible, but AUR30N has the rear boot lip type spoiler so he would probably be the best person to ask where to obtain one that can definitely fit the Aurion

Nope camry boot spoiler is diffrent don't fall into the trap i did - was lucky enough to resell it to another member on forum cause the camry is a shorter spoiler and bends all wrong.

I would say so since their Camry uses the Aurion body.

I'm pretty sure the engine is the 2.4l I4 though. Irrelevant, but meh.

Yes thai cam will fit, but duck tails bought of ebay or in australia or US are diffrent

Why not check with Toyota, the TRD has a ducktail and another spoiler on top of it. I don't know if it is one piece or two pieces.

I can't exactly remember, would need to have a look at Ash or David's TRD again, but I think the top part of the TRD spoiler mounts through the lip spoiler portion. This would make the lip look out of place on it's own. That's from my memory anyways. It may not be like that.

Regardless, I don't think this would be a cheap part.

you're right... the top part goes through the bottom part... so if you got it, it'd have to be plastic welded, bogged and then painted before you install it...

that all adds to the costs of it... i'm sure the one from overseas would be WAY cheaper...
