I don't mind the Brick Track by Salt N Pepa... taken samples from Pink Floyd's 'Another Brick In The Wall' although they didnt actually cover it....

Posted

Just so you know...the most horrendous covers I've ever heard are:

Madonna - American Pie (McLean)

Evanescence - Zero (The Smashing Pumpkins - how dare they make an attempt at that song...nu metal freaks)

PANIC! At the disco - Tonight Tonight (The Smashing Pumpkins - once again a crummy emo band tries to cover 'THE' band of the 90's, lame lol)

Posted

sounds like is someone even dares to wistle or hum a SP track Rob getts poopy.... LOL

The only band that covers the Smashing Pumpkins and does a good job of it is the Smashing Pumpkins lol.

They re-write and re-structure a lot of their own songs, both 1996 - 2001 and also 2006 ;) Can't wait for them to return.

Linkin Park did that with their Hybrid Theory album and called it 'Reanimation'....was absolutley awesome
