anyway he reckons the tyres he wants to put on wont scrub but im not to sure because evryones got diff opinions.

he wants to put 225/35 x18 on there and reckons thell be fine but has anyone had this size and know if they scrub or not?

i havnt got rolled guards(and dont wanna)

still got stock springs.

anyone that could help me would be great.

so i can let him know to oder them or get 17" instead.

thanks

I'm assuming that the standard is 16" 205/60. On that assumption, 18" 225/35 will have no problems. In fact, it's diameter, and thus its circumference will be a little smaller.

It fact, compared to the stock tires/wheels, the 18" will read 5.8% too fast i.e. when you think that you're travelling 60km/h, you're actually travelling 56.5km/h.
