I would have preferred if MAP81 took up my original idea to get a CAI custom made which would fit better and flow more than the TRD item. Pity he's so lazy :P

would have been nice if TRD also beaded the ends of their pipe too considering the cost of their pipe.

mmm maybe after the o/seas trip...

six weeks in Italy is going to hit the bank balance hard !  :D

Which part of Italy you be going to? My dad always brings home this nice salami from Sicili.

WOOPS WRONG TOPIC

I'll be touring at first and then the last 4 weeks I'll be in the Calabrian Countryside

would have been nice if TRD also beaded the ends of their pipe too considering the cost of their pipe.

Very true, and from the pics, I can't see the Join in the Simota causing much of a disruption to the airflow.

with marks assembled, the ends of each pipe were almost face-to face with very little gap, so there would be minimal disruption.

Yeah I have kept the standard Simota pod for the time being.... Just going to see how it goes.... I may possibly change it in the future but for now it is staying :D

Rollamods I respect your opinion, If it get's your approval then I know it works.  By the way, Mark, did you stick with the standard Simota filter?

BUY BUY BUY

cheap cheap buy buy :D

i don't think the joins in the simota have any disruption wat so ever. the only thing maybe is the diameter. so far so good for me. but i really push replacing the simota filter... its smaller than k&n extreme.

when considiring purchase... look at price!

:P Yeah Yeah, well it's not a one off price that will change so there's no hurry, I'm not certain yet I want a CAI, but if I go down that path I now know there's another option.
