Ben wait a few more days till early or mid next week. You should have got them by now, but Austpost does some weird things sometimes.

BTW, John might have spied them in his truck and re-routed them to his place! :D Just jokes, sorry to hear you havent got it, that sucks. It always pays to pay the extra for tracking and remind the contact to pay for tracking.

I hope they show up.

Thanks to Jesse, hardly on this forum but always does his research! :toast:

Ben, bummer about you not getting it yet, when did you order them? The same time as Dutchie?

yes, same date on 20 oct.. i spoke to ATC, and they have it insured and send to me again..I will ask for tracking number this time

Hope to get it next week!!!

P.S...I occassionally heard courier stuff up in Sydney.. my friend is a fashion wholesaler and have issues with courier all the time, no matter it is international or local

Very happy to c the header is a simple bolt on from dutchie

Great to hear Ben. Some nasty posties will gank stuff if they see a label or something on it they like and its not registered or tracked. This can happen with car parts quite often. Not saying the majority of posties are sus, 99% of them are great, but stuff like this does happen often enough. Nengun even offer a stealth postage, ie, they scrub out or repackage the goods in "Brand free" boxes to avoid sticky fingers getting greedy, so it must be a problem enough for them to warrant this assistance.

Hii all...

I am a new guy from Turkıye... I have a question... My ZRE is 2007 1.6 engine code is 1ZR-E15 are there a lot of difference with 2ZE-FE... I read this from the near of engine...

İs it possible to use this headers on my engine?

Don't you worry, Ive been looking for them :D Plenty of dodgy people out there, old school workers are mainly trusting and honest, too many casuals in the freight business and stuff can go missing for sure. Hard to pinpoint without some sort of tracking. Between a purchase from say the US to Post contractor delivering to your door your item will go through up to 10 sets of hands,Mail, couriers, truckies, forkies, airport staff, more truckies, forkies, mail staff, customs, mail staff then a couple more sets of hands then hopefully to your door, and intact :g:

So Ben if by chance you do end up with two sets, yes it happens, then I will gladly help you out ;)

I received my header, it is a registered post, turned out that the parcel is sitting in the post office for ages.. The delivery address is just located at the opposite side of the post office.. How funny is it? This is Australian postage !!!

Anyways, I installed my header today, took 2.5 hours, since the header is too hot, some time is wasted

I installed it in an exhaust specialist (Sydney Hi Tech Mufflers) who put my catback system before..

Their comments are quite negative about my header..

1. They said the factory header is better

2. They said my header will crack after one year because the original header has "something" to stop from cracking

They also asked me whether to replace the stainless steel cat convertor as well for $500. However, I say no (they try to convince me to install, and I said someone did an dyno test to remove the cat convertor and only saw 3hp gain)

The end result, to be honest, I feel nothing, but dutch101 said he felt 3-5kw increase, may be I have to wait for my ECU to get used to it...

If you compare the headers with the factory one before, there is not a big difference, the tube side is only a little bit larger and the factory ones is 4 to 1 instead of 4-2-1

Please refer to johnnieboi post for headers comparison. His pictures are much better to see. He cannot feel the power increase as well after installation

I have done a research and i cannot find anyone complaining a cracking weaponR header so far..

Anyways, here are the pictures

Im still surprised that no one can feel the difference. Its not huge, but the engine does rev much more free at the top end, and the power curve is extended by at least 500-700rpm. Now i could safely say that it would be better with a 7500rpm cut out. I also feel that the decel is smoother and it doesnt "hold" revs as bad as it used to.. Surely im not trippin?? No difference under 4500 is noticeable. Its all top end. Guys? :help: Im not finally losing it am i???

Sorry, what do u mean by it would be better with a 7500rpm cut out? the factory red zone is 6200rpm, u mean we can push over it?

I can tell you, I can feel a big difference between a full tank and an almost empty tank. After a full tank few days ago, I have no mood to push the car.. I am expecting changing the header will have bigger effect than the CAI

Have you restarted the ECU by disconnecting negative of the battery for 10 minutes..

(I just realised that I need to turn the alarm off in order to disconnect the battery)

My driving habit is driving at below 3k RPM most of the time to save petrol, so that's why I cannot feel it..

After I installed my CAI, my car can drive at 60km/h at 6th gear in a little steep road.. That's my benchmark of measuring, before, I cannot... (Dun laugh at me,I know I got a strange driving style)

I have ordered the NST pulley as well, and will put it on next week... (I dunno what I am doing, still want to gamble on the reliability of my car)

May be my fuel consumption can tell, I save 10% of fuel after putting CAI on...may be another 5% after header, I dun know !!!

You mean you have never hit the rev limiter?!

The engine pulls well and doesn't really drop off that much at 6500, i think it could easily go to 7500 but probably not much more untill we know more on how the internals will hold up.

I think im one of the very few that actually drive the ZRE's hard.... :whistling:

Below 3000, no you wont fell anything. let me know how you go with the pulley Ben.

I reach the rev limiter on average twice a day.

After resetting the ECU, i can feel the power. at low rpm, i can feel the torque now

As you know, paying me ***** to reconnect the battery-->have to turned alarm off, and have to call the dealer for audio security code

If you dont really push your car, shouldnt have got headers or CAI? Dont know about you, but since CAI and headers install, my fuel consumption is around the same, except when i have a heavy foot.

I get cut off around 6.3K, i was flicking redline/rev limiter on track but other than that havnt seen how much more it can go, dont really want to, just to be on the safe side as well.
