Night cruise this thursday night. Meet at Loop for a run through the twisties. not a long late night but a nice drive and time to talk some smakc about how fast your car isn't LOL

soarer is off to exhaust shop in the morn and hopefully dyno in the arvo... im a maybe (better be or ill have no car come friday at all as housemate is back from overseas and will need her car back :()

doing this turbo conversion ended up being alot harder then i expected, so so so close now thoe.

Due to early start on Friday I'll be leaving the loop at 9:30ish. When is the cruise? Going to hang at the loop first before departing a bit later?

Car won't handle a mountain run at the moment. Need to replace my rear strut mounts as my strut keeps shifting and rubbing against my RSB.

Heading to Fulcrum tomorrow for analysis so we might have it ready for Thursday. If it remains dry might take mums car out; if it is wet I won't be heading out.

Northy's car is full as i have 3 boys from Vanuatu who want a little bit of Fast and furious tokyo Drift!! They know nothing about cars apart from watching the movies. When I explained to them about going up the mountain like in the movie they were all in agreeance that they wanted to come and have a ride. Of course North was ever so obliging to offer his services...... ;)

Not looking to promising at the moe :-( so over this stupid car grrrrrrrr everything I touch ends up taking way longer then it should or just ends up being more involved then expected.

Haha just spent a few hours on the car, sweet fa left to do and I'm getting up at 5am to finish it! So I'll see you lot Thursday night :-D

Should be available for thursday, but not sure what car.

Camry gets the suspension checked tomorrow but I don't think I am going to get lucky with a booking for Thursday; especially if I need to have the parts ordered in.

      overheated engine

      I drive a 2010 series 200 sahara V8 automatic. I recently towed a small caravan on a not that hotter day. The temperature gauge went to about half then dropped back to normal. The motor then went into limp mode and eventually stopped. On lifting the bonnet i noticed the top radiator tank had split all the way across. I have only two months ago had the complete cooling system checked with no defects. I called the RAA in South Aust and they tried to start it but just turned over but did not fire up. It was still pretty hot. I have been told the motor would be ruined by overheating. The car has been sitting at the repairers for 5 days now and as far as i know it has not been attempted to start. Before putting a new motor in it would it be worth putting a new radiator in it and see if it will fire up? Open to any suggestions at this stage.

      1996 Trueno XZ - Is it worth modding?

      Depends on how common/rare they are in your part of the world. The XZ trim was the second-lowest so didn't come with most of the fun bits that the full-fruit BZG/V/R models did, so it's not anywhere near as desirable stock but sometimes you have to make do with what you can find, plus you shouldn't feel as guilty modding the heck out of it since most of it isn't special.

      VSC, Traction Control, Check Engine lights all on

      I attended Toyota Preston for Aurion ATX 2013 major service today. Cost $~$1300. On the way home I stopped to pick up dinner. Two fault lights: engine and VSC lights came on when I restarted the car. Car drove home just fine. I can only return the car tomorrow for them to sort out. Annoyed. Let’s see if they’re still on in the morning.

      1996 Trueno XZ - Is it worth modding?

      Hi everyone, new member to the group and owner driver of a nifty little Toyota Sprinter Trueno XZ, now this was my cousins car, I bought it off him and after various drives, I have come to the decision that this needs alot of love. Now I am wondering if its worth putting my time and money into doing this certain make n model up or should I just buy a different car to do up?
