I have made some minor cosmetic changes to the butt-end of my car.

Removal of all Chrome badging from the rear of the car...

Addition of Black Toyota logo badge...

Addition of Carbon-Fibre look plate trim...

hahaha all you need now is a rear skirt and you will be my rear end 'twin'

I hope thts nothing like a 'Bum Buddy' dude.... ;)

what and how did you remove the badging?

did it leave any stickyness behind?

let me know i want to remove my toyota and corolla badge myself.

looks good mate

Eddy,

When I removed the badges, I simply picked at the corner of the badge with my fingernail to lift it slightly. Then when you see the sticky stuff behind it starting to expand, use a long blade from one of those extendable box-cutters and carefully cut the sticky stuff.

When the badge is removed, you should have a outline of the car body of the badge left over from the sticky stuff.

I 'CAREFULLY' used turps on a rag to rub the sticky stuff off. When it was pretty much gone, I used another clean soft cloth with Isocol (Rubbing Alcohol) to clean it up.

Then I cleaned the car like normal.

Then I polished the sh!t out of it, because you could still faintly see where the badge was.

I dunno if this was how Craigs was done, but mine certainly needed the polishing because of the red colour of the car.

Cheers

Aaron :)

Looks really good. The black is the ducks nuts with the red paint work. The carbon trim really goes well with the red. I think it would look not so good on the silver though (probably stick out just a little too much).

I would have voted yes to that look in a poll.
