Will i fit a 17 inch 215/50 on a Sportivo??

you can try to run larger profile tyres, but it will throw your speedo out.

for our corollas, the set size (if you want 215's) is either 40 or 45 profile. I run 215 45 R17s, and my speedo is marginally out...

choose 215 40 R17's. <<< this is what I will be going back to (eventually).

My 45's still scrub out the fronts even after raising it 15mm :o lol :P

I was told it would not when I was hunting for new tyres a few weeks ago. He was looking at the car when he told me this.

and fyi my car is lowered and have 17" so I stick with the 215/45. :-l

Hey evan,

Sup man? yeah I know i have been really busy lately.

Well, i would love to come to the annual meet but there is barely anyone for VIC going so I am not too sure what to do. I don't wanna be stuck there on my own. :(

Just renewed my membership as well..hahaha..did not realised it ran out. :-l

the correct fit for 17X 6.5 and 17X7 inch wheels on the corolla is 205/45/17s

215/50 will fit but depending on the cop you can get defected as diameter will exceed the overall recommended size.

the stock tread on the stivo from factory was 195/55/16 ...... which was a shocking setup because of how rare it is to find a tyre made in that size and when you do its stupidly expensive because its a rare size.

215/50/17 is actually going to throw ur speedo out by a bit and in the wrong direction ..... based on the calculators when ur speedo shows 100km/h u will be doing 104.2 km/h so u might trigger a few speed camera's inadvertently unless u keep ur eye on the speedo & adjust accordingly ..... a closer fit would be 215/45/17

Here is a calculator to muck around a bit with it yourself
