Single Din Fascia Kit for Corolla ZZE

Hi guys,

I'm having problem to fit the single din fascia kit into the center dash panel hole.

The fascia kit i got is slightly larger than the hole, I tried to use a little bit of force to push it in but still no luck.

Do you guys realised that the US and UK version ZZE, the center dash panel hole is slightly larger than Australia?

I noticed that all the single din fascia kit available to ZZE in Australia are designed from US and it won't fit the Australia version.

I have searched the entire forum & www and I still can't find a solution.

Have anyone come across this problem?

I got one from Autobarn. I believe that I got a generic toyota double din kit. I know that Hilux's from the similar year as my 2005 sportivo use the same cd player

this is how my car came stock.

it was a double din, with a little plastic panel as it only had a single din HU in

anyway, thought these images may be of a bit of help.

i know Ryda makes a double din for the ZZE

So I'd be thinking get that and just put the little plastic panel there to cover up the hole left by not having a double din HU

oh and the second image is the panel which I have removed from my car,

double din dvd player in now with a playstation 2 hooked up :D

Here is my fascia kit I bought from ebay.

It won't fit the panel hole.

Here is my 2nd fascia kit I bought from SparesPlanet.com.au.

They imported the fascia kit from America.

Again this also won't fit the hole, I took the measurement already.

I do not want to open the package, once I opened I can't return to the seller.

I can see you used the existing brackets to hold your single din HU, right?

With the right fascia kit, it should not need to cover up any holes left behind.

Ideally, I would like somethings to fully cover the hole like the one I bought from ebay.

Unfortunately, the kit is only designed for America & UK's Corolla.

Bought the fascia kit from Autobarn.

It took me a while to install this kit.

Really happy now.
