Nice meet up all, good to see some old faces and new (welcome Caldina), next meet will most likely be a cruise in hopefully some nice warmer sun (froze my nips off last weekend) :P

Right All, next meet up will be a cruise. I'm looking for expressions of interest at this stage (if not enough interest is gained it'll just be a regular meet).

My plan is for all of us to meet up at GreenAcre McDonalds (need suggestions on other meet up locations as I remember the last time we did this we met up at a different McDonalds), then we drive up the M1 (or F1) to Wollombi stopping at route 33 cafe (if it's still there), then after a break we'll push up to Hunter Valley Gardens in Polkobin.

Route map is below, planning to meet up at 9am for a 9:30am departure.

Please let me know who's keen :)

I cannot remember where the last maccas was but I do remember it was freaking busy >.<

Greenacre should be pretty dead at that time of morning, but it doesn't make sense for people that live farther North than it to track back there...

Last Maccas was thornleigh. And yeh it's pretty busy as it's the last one before getting on the m1/f1.

Can someone please let me know if this works by the way, for some reason it doesn't load normally for me? Ideally the meet up location should be Thornleigh McDonalds

When I click it it showed me the middle of the route, but scrolling down it does start at the maccas.

Meet point is Harrys at Parramatta at 9, leaving at 10. I should be going (being on the Toymods board means I really should be going to every event), need to do an oil-change on the Corolla first otherwise I might be rocking up in the Camry hack.

As for the end of month meet, nothing has been organised but I'll show up to the Maccas if other people confirm attendance...



Crypt and I are meeting up at Krispy Kreme Sydney Airport tomorrow night at 7:30pm, anyone is welcome to tag along... Might be moving down to the control tower hill if the weather isn't bad...

I wouldn't mind a cruise this month, here's my idea for the 30th Sat or 31st Sun... I'd like to see the Hampden Bridge at Kangaroo Valley..

Thinking a meet up at around 8.00am at Hungry Jacks near Bankstown airport.To avoid tolls head on to M5/Hume Hwy and head straight there while a good opp for rolling shots on the freeway, find somewhere for lunch, I don't know the area at all so any info suggestions are welcome. Then come home via twisty's or back on the freeway..

I like the idea. But rather than have lunch there - why not head to hampden bridge direct from freeway - then lunch in Kiama? then princes hwy back?

Yep I like that idea as well...

Decide on a date and we'll get the ball rolling people, then I can update the title this weekend some time...

Crypt could you post up a map/route/details ? or anyone else? I'm crap at that stuff...

where the Aldi store is.. We can discuss trip there as it will be pretty
straight forward drive, casual..

Expanding our reach into OzCelica, there are a few members that have been asking about cruises and meetups so we shall see how that goes... Unfortunatly it will probably be the same as always, (Too late notice/work/family).

When I find out if anyone else on there is interested I'll post here...

      2011 Land Cruiser 1VD-FTV Engine Won't Start After Overhaul

      Hi everyone, I have a 2011 Land Cruiser VDJ200 with a 1VD-FTV engine. I recently had the engine fully overhauled due to a blown head gasket. However, after the overhaul, the engine is not starting. It only cranks but doesn't fire. I've checked the following DTC codes: Internal memory EEPROM error Low rail pressure The actual rail pressure data shows: 240 bar during cranking 61 bar when ignition is off Based on these findings, I suspect the following potential causes: =Defective Diesel High-Pressure Pump =Leaking Piezoelectric Injectors =Diesel Fuel Bypassing to the DPF Circuit =Faulty Injector Drivers I'm hoping for some expert advice to help diagnose and resolve this problem I'm seeking expert advice on how to troubleshoot and resolve this issue. Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

      Hey guys, I’m wanting to disconnect my current winch, lightbar and UHF as I have new plans. I’ve installed a winch previously on another car so I get it’s a case of following the cables and disconnecting from the battery, etc but but safety wise, should I start by disconnecting the battery so the cables aren’t live orrrr? And if so how do it go this haha?

      Snapping wheel and axle studs

      Put a set of standard wheels on it and your problem will disappear. It is critical that the hole in the wheel centre is a snug fit on the axle boss (without wheel nuts fitted). If your wheels are sloppy on the axle boss this allows excess force on your wheel studs and they will break, as yours are doing. If you are unsure of what to do, go to a reputable tyre shop and get assistance.

      2zz idle / roughness when accelerating past 3k

      Hey everyone was hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction with this issue I've been facing for a while now. My Celica's idle will drop down to almost 200rpm when stationery after hitting operating temperature. Pretty much feels like it's about to stall out but never actually does. When taking off from a set of lights it almost feels like it hesitates or is down on power and then all of a sudden it lurches forward and gets a boost in power again. Then again around 1,500-3,000rpm it feels down on power and in what I can only describe in the engine feeling scratchy. Past 3,000 rpm it gets a little boost in power again but still definitely feels down on power compared to what it used to be and still has that roughness. Note lift is also not working at the moment but I have changed the lift bolts, planning on cleaning the VVT and VVTL-i OCV's New engine mounts have been installed I changed the MAF sensor about 4 years ago albeit not OEM. After doing some research my main ideas now would be a New MAF this time OEM, TPS, IACV or Coil Packs (Changed plugs 50,000km ago) Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! :)
