Amplifier 88650-60D60 no longer made
Hi all, Wondering if anyone has had this issue. I recently purchased a 2007 200 series landcruiser, and the amplifier for the air con unit stopped working. Part number 88650-60D60. (Looks like a circuit board) All controls for the air con now do not work, very frustrating in winter when you dont have any way to unfog your windscreen. Toyota have informed me that they no longer produce this part, and there is nothing superseeded to fit in it's place. My question is has anyone had this problem? If so what did you do to fix it? I have got onto an auto sparky who has had a go at fixing the circuit board but its unserviceable. Any feedback would be much appreciated. -

Engine oil dipstick reading
Hi guys, Probably a silly question... I'm having trouble reading my engine oil dipstick on my Toyota Hilux 2010 3.0 Turbo Diesel. I have warmed up the engine, turned off for ~10 minutes, parked on a level surface. Pulled out the dipstick, wipe it and insert it back to the bottom and carefully lift it up. I tried so many times and the two sides always look different. I couldn't read it. Maybe I just don't understand how to read it. Could someone help? Thanks a lot!!! -

Lock CH-R
Just got a used 2018 CH-R, I always have to lock the car by pressing lock twice to have the light turn off. A friend borrowed it and pressed lock only once and the battery died because all the lights were still on. Is that normal? Shouldn’t one press of lock on the key switch off everything? -

New Vehicle Key Remotes
We also just endured the wait and picked up our new LC300 - just got told there is still a 6-12 mth wait on a second key from Toyota, and apparently this is something Toyota Australia are managing, not dealers....or so our dealer reckoned! -
