I like both, but turbo has a better bang for your buck.

Supercharger because IMO it sounds better and has more torque in the low revs than turbos.

Either is good for me. They both have pros and cons. On a realistic scale though, a turbo in my opinion rates higher because it just has more potential and more applications.

But i just can't say no to supercharger whine. It's something you don't hear too often which makes it quite nice to have.

Any boost is good. Turbo is probably more versatile than a supercharger but as DJKOR has said it's hard to go past the whine.

Pippy's car has had both, when it changed from supercharged to turbo it picked up 23kw atw the wheels with 3psi less boost... with the same low down response/torque the charger had.

I've personally witnessed a couple of 4agze's also gaining 20kw ATW on the same boost when the SC12 was ditched for a turbo
