Mufflers tips sitting too low?

Hey guys,

I just installed 2 Borla mufflers on the Aurion.

The tips seem to sit lower than the stock tips and it doesn't look too good.

I had a look at the rubber hangers and the problem seems to be with the muffler connected to the Y pipe where this solid connection seems to determine the tip position..

Anyone else had this problem? If so, any quick fixes? I considered using zip ties to adjust the tip position, but wasn't too sure if this could affect the rest of the piping as tightening and raising the height of the tips would put it under stress.

Thanks in advance

Mufflers looked tucked up from what i can see,but those tips look wrong...maybe call into an exhaust place and see what tips will fill the gap

here is a pic of my Supercats with 4" Zetti stainless tips, fills it in nicely IMO

This is probably close to what you are after. It sounds great! Quiet at idle and starts to get loud at 2k rpm. When you put your foot down, it gets really really loud though.

Yeahhh that's what I thought it was supposed to look like! I might ask for some advice from a shop, was just wondering if anyone else had this problem... :/

I haven't heard it myself, but I'm guessing it sounds like BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

I was joking. You were asking how it sounds which is not something that words are going to explain. It's like me asking you how Morgan Freeman sounds if I have never heard his voice before.

Don't worry mate, I laughed... in a manically unsound way.

Pretty standard exhaust harmonics on the Aurion - my exhaust works similar in that with only a slight bit of throttle it's very quiet, but any load and it gets loud but suddenly the noise starts dropping off after 2.5-3k.

I'm running 2x high flow mufflers and no resonator.
