Dear Club Members,

As a majority of you may have noticed that we have undergone a big change on the forums and website.

The change of website look and feel is part of a plan to enhance the clubs throughout and adding more exciting features to the club and keep you guys engaged with the community. The forum is just a start of the process and over the next coming months new things will start to appear on the website which will in turn enhance the new template. Tere will also be many asthetic tweaks coming too.

As the new template of the site is rather new, there are still few few things that need fixing. I have been over pages over and over to get things ironed out but it can take quite a while to get it all looking perfect. So please bear with me on this.

As members of the club it would be great for some constructive feedback from you guys, report any problems and suggest some ideas. If you could take time to send me an email with anything you think may help the site.

Please remember,  screenshots are very helpful if you have layout issues or be descriptive as possible.

Email me at clubmember.feedback@gmail.com

Thanks for your time and enjoy the new site.

I don't mind it so far. It would be nice to be able to hide the righthand side bar thingy, as it takes up 1/3 of the screen. The top menu bar is nifty and would have some good code in it, but again it would be nice to have the option to not have it auto pin to the top on scrolling. I just like simple clean layouts; and other than those two minor gripes, I like it more than the previous layout. Good stuff Steve.

+1 I like what I have seen so far, took time to find some things like status update but overall its a positive step.

LOVin it. Especially the mobile one, (mostly cos I'm on phone,) very easy to navigate through, as you know there are contrast issues, but I'm sure you'll fix that :)

On a serious note, I have heard reports that the Android mobile version does not have a link at the bottom to view the desktop site. I recall IPB having the ability to enable or disable that from view for particular devices, so could you possibly check that out Steve?

Also, are there adjustments available to the way you post replies? The quick reply box at the bottom of the page appears to be the only way a reply can be posted. The problem here is that it saves your post content after you submit it and adds the post to the page without a refresh (which effectively clears the reply box). This makes it quite easy to double post accidentally.

It would seem there are multiple threads about the new site. I posted elsewhere that I use an Android Xoom tablet and there is no provision to switch to the desktop view, as had been stated by others when in Mobile view!!! I like to use desktop at all sites I visit with the Xoom, rather than mobile, mobile view, especially here now with the new update to this site is, well terrible.
