newbie with a 95 celica

Recommended Posts

hey trent currently auto, probably going to do some work to current engine, since there's a fair bit of age on it now. I've bought a TO4E ball-bearing turbo charger from the states so far --- have alot of research to do yet, particularly in terms of which computer to buy ---- also i've got flanges to make manifold - have to buy some pipe and that will be next step :)

The 5S-FE is generally not classed as a very good base for turbo applications. However power can be made, but not cheaply. The weak points are the pistons, conrods and headgasket, which I would recommend changing if you want things to last a long time. Guys have had it last by not doing this, but it is a rarity.
