I have just hit 50,000 and am about to replace the shoes for the first time. Is this about normal or have people gotten more / less from the stock tires?.

thats not too bad at all ;)

I cant comment on my stock rubber as i changed it after 1000 K but I got a good 25,000 + out of my goodyears

So I'd be very happy with 50,000 :D

Hey thats a point, anyone who has upgrades the wheels got the original rubber they want to sell, or even better if you want to get rid of your original mags with rubber how much do you want?.

I have 25K off them at the moment and therte is still heaps to go.

My wife has a Commodore Ute with the same tyres (although hers are a 205/50/16 I think) and she has hit 75K and hers still have more go on them

i got to 35,000 km's on mine and they were ok.... then i got my springs and didnt get my wheels aligned and camber was way out so i just ruined 2 of them which i didnt find out till 40,000 km's when i got my rims but with the proper care for sure u can get 50,000+

I am at 57k now, still running on the first set (Dunlop Sports) but ah...

They are kinda border-lining on legality <_<

With some more conservative driving (less burnouts) i think i could have gotten 60k out of them quite easily.

Mine are still like new; but then again they only did 47km on the car when they were removed and replaced with something decent.

Are you referring to the canvas on the rims on the back of your car that you like to describe as tyres :P
