first of all i dunno if this has been covered before but let me know if it has.

i dont know if this is normal.. but when im driving over 80k/h and ONLY my rear windows are down coz of passengers either one open or both. there is a really loud echoing noise that hurts the ear.. itll only go away if i open one of the front windows even just a little bit. is this normal? coz its my first 4 door car. ive only had 2 door cars before so ive never experienced rear openable windows. i dont know if this is normal. or is it just my car?

I've experienced that on my last 4 door corolla, my WRX hatch and my current chaser

so your saying its perfectly normal? its so loud tho. didnt think a new car like this would have that noise when rear windows are open.

not much they can do about the pulsation of the air within the cabin at speed. Probably why the car's are air conditioned ;)

If I want the windows down at the rear, I usually open the sunroof or one of the front windows a bit.

its normal, i have found that weather shields make the "echo" a bit softer but its still there untill i crack the front windows down abit.

i had the same thing with my car when i first got it...

dont worry ull either get use to it, or psychologically use a way to go around it =D

come to think about it.... thats probably how i got you to "weird" noises coming from the car :)

you somehow get used to it!!

hahaha good idea pumping up the music would be good.

Amp wires are they better when they are thicker?? does it make a different? i presume bigger wires mean more power can get through, im a newbie... :P

Yeah it's normal. It happens in my car and in my brother's Euro as well. Never experienced this in older cars though for some reason.

its all to do with air pressure...

there is a fix for it though..

when you are equipped with BASS in your boot i would not advise to have your rear windows down and font up unless you seriously want to damage your ears whilst driving the bass is directly forced into your head. causes pain
