Hi Guys,

Very soon Toyota will be once again offering the special addition Aurion Touring variant which just like in the past offers a fantastic value for money proposition.

This time around they come standard with above the AT-X

  • 17" Sportivo "Sport" Alloy Wheels
  • Sportivo front grill
  • Front fog lamps ( Front end of the car is a mixture of Sportivo SX6 and Prodigy - not bad looking at all virtually the same as NZ's main stay Touring model)
  • Sportivo side skirts
  • Sportivo rear spoiler
  • Sportivo Sports Alloy pedals
  • Prodigy 4 spoke premium steering wheel and gear knob

http://www.toyota.com.au/aurion/range?ModuleName=Aurion+Touring+Special+Edition&ModuleLoc=/aurion&ModuleCTA=Image&ModuleState=&ModuleInteract=1&VehicleConversionID=Aurion

Normal full retail pricing is around $42,800 drive away depending on your states tax/duty setup and dealers delivery charges.

Oooh that sounds good. Even better than my Touring. Hmm that might be my next car!

Interesting. I wonder will it run sportivo style suspension? When buying my Prodigy I enquired about sports suspension being an option but to no avail.

No it doesnt run any of the suspension, chassis or steering changes that make Sportivo Unique in that department. :)

From my experience with my 2011 Touring, the bigger rims do firm the ride up a bit but it isn't at firm as the Sportivo models.

A happy medium perhaps.

It's taken me a while to get used to the ride having had a 1996 CSi Camry for 14 years ... perhaps I'm just getting old and needing a smoother, softer ride.

Personally I prefer the look of the previous model than the current.

How much did you get it for? Looking to trade my Aurion in for maybe a new model the 0% interest is tempting...
