Im sorry someone has a double garage that can spray **** at this time with no worries, i can't wait to see them man, Im excited to see how they turn out

Are you going to light black vinyl coat them?

Or are they just that bright in the photos?

Posted (edited)

Nope, not going to going to tint them. They are super bright in person. Gone are the days of blinding people with your headlights. These days you blind them with your tails ;)

Tints would be just to reduce the brightness, but will ruin the look.

You can see what defyant did in the below pics. He blackened the inside of the tail lights, so during the day they look tinted.

p.s. The above photos make them look less bright :P

This is for you Rebz !! Thanks for the idea again. The outside comes out great but the with inner ring, the plastidip stick and peels off and becomes flakey. You can hardly notice it.

So I might just spray them with the usual stuff. Hopefullly the red comes out the same.

Loving the red theme!

Very nice indeed bro

Didn't go with the black for the air vents. Thought it'd look too busy. But I've got something else planned for red as well :P

Mmm I don't know bro. Like I recon it will match the middle compartment since it's black and red ?

Idk upto you. I have a really good idea for ya man

I'm being lazy because I don't want to spray them in the car. Looks like I can take the flaps out. Wondering if I should plasti dip in black or carbon fibre wrap it like the middle sun glass compartment.

Posted

For looks go carbon fibre. Might be easier too. But upto you man

Well I sparyed the below. Don't like it. Plus I broke the 2 bottom clips :(

I think it's too much. The centre console and 2 rings on either side looks good. This just throws it off. So I will remove it.

Oh, I bought some actual vinyl spray paint to do the rings so they don't peel.

Lol this has gone way off topic!!

Sounded like a great idea on sat :D ahh well at leat you wont die wondering.

I still don't think it looks bad tho :D

Posted

Man keep it. That looks freakin nice.

You'll regret peeling it off

It looks really good IMO

Posted

It looks nice, but throws out the rest of the red. Looks uneven

Posted

A pic further back to see the entire dash would be good - to see what ya mean about throwin out the other red. ^_^

Air vent rings are off for now as I took off the plastidip. Keeps peeling. Spraying them with vinyl spray.
