Does anyone know if there were any differences between stock aurions and aurions driven by the police ?

Im aware that in queensland there has been som of the newer models aurion being used as patrol cars and general duty cars.

I can 100% assure you that they are exactly the same performance wise, the only differences are in looks and police fit outs.

Well they understood incorrectly. About the only thing in the brakes they would have "upgraded" are heavy duty brake pads.

I know for a fact, as I have worked in the workshop that does the fit outs of the vehicles.

Good old Cop Chip myth type of thing.

Why would need better performing car? XR6 Turbo or SS probs all the power they need in Traffic to attempt to pull someone over.

Remember Queensland has a no pursuit policy.

all the same we have heaps come in and out of work...they dont really need more power ,as they can't chase over 160km,

plus you can't out run a police radio
