Hey guys. Only just bought an 01 HiLux and trying to eliminate all issues rather quickly. I have a pretty noticeable 'vibration' or within the steering collumn when i turn (not warped rotors vibration, this is actually within the column) I assumed the fluid wasn't at cold levels but upon checking my fluid was topped. Any suggestions on what it could be?

Diff? Im not sure.

So it only happens when turning? Is it at high or low speeds?

Does it happen when your braking or braking on a turn?

CV joints, wheel ballance, wheel bearings, loose steering joints, bad suspension pivots, suggest 2 person examination, one at steer wheel, other observing front end. Test wheels for loose movements 3-9 o'clock , 12-6 o;clock shakes. bad tyres?

Seems to disappear when it heats up.

Happens at low speeds. May be a wheel issue as the guy has fitted fg xr6 wheels with the wrong offset, I'll change the wheels over and get a wheel balance and report back.
