Maybe toyota is realising how much money they are losing on each stivo. Having a great engine, alright leather interior and pretty good wheels compared to a normal corolla.

If toyota priced the stivo anymore than what they have, not many people would buy it, sad but true. If it was around the 35k mark I would have gone an astra or clio.

But bang 4 your buck the stivo came out on top. Now toyota realised this... and the price will probably go up.

There are many other possibilities.

Another thing... I also had a look at the sportivo spec's on the toyota site about a month or two ago and I noticed the weight had gone down to 1164kg. A bit more realistic. Did any one notice this?

Anyway back to enjoying my car without rattles.

it probably just means that all the sportivos will be well sorted and without problems (as many problems anyway)

My Probs So Far

Squeaking Brakes in reverse

Passenger side seat rail seized and was replaced

Clutch Pedal Rubber fell off Twice

Head Unit replaced as it stopped playing CD's

Drivers Side Seat belt Warning light stopped working (not fixed yet)

And Regrigent leaking from the AC.

Well i only have the one real problem so far... and thats the rattle. It mainly occurs in 4th around 3500-5000rpm... so just ur general driving speed.

No squeaky brakes yet and none of the other probs.

I do have a dodgy tint job though that is getting fixed at the 1000km service. I'm taking quite a fair bit of time to crack the 1000 due to having a work van and using that most days :P

It'll be getting a spin to the Gong this weekend though, to the footy, so i'll be able to see how she is (including the seats, which i have heard can get a lil uncomfortable on longer trips) for a longer trip then i have done so far.

Sportivos spotted recently:

Red Sportivo coming onto Fairford Rd from Canterbury Rd heading Nth yesterday morning....

White Sportivo heading East on Cantebury Rd Near Gibson Ave.

Does anyone here live or regularly visit the south-south west of Sydney so i know what cars i am looking out for?

Hey Bladehunter,

I suggest that you should take your license plate number off. You never know who's lurking on the forum. Just put some of the numbers and *** or something. Better be safe then sorry I guess. Cheers dude. :D
