270? looks and sounds good, but i'd like to point out that this is some thing VERY EASY to diy.

have you fellas ever opened up and looked at the rear of the light pod? the space where the inside red bit is supposed to light is is just covered with a plastic cover (as opposed to a cover with a bulb hole)

Just get a bulb socket and wire it in parallel with the other stop light and drill/cut the milkcarton thin plastic and pop it there.

You fellas are wayyy too eager to throw money into new toys.

and as for the LED indicator light, why not a LED bulb or even *gasp* a diy LED panel?

some of us here dont have your DIY savvy negatron so maybe you should post DIY for this tail-light conversion if you say its easy to do could save us eager people $270.

Ok Lads, I'm game to do a test run for this.

I'm based in Melb and i'm going to need to lab rat car (preface lift ) as i don't have a rolla no more.

The deal for lab rat car is:

You pay for all parts.

If i kill your lights, i say sorry and you get a 6 pack. (don't worry i'm very careful.)

who's game?

So are you keen to donate them?

I can get a LED panel designed pretty quickly, considering all my experience with the Mazda 3 third brake lights.

It should be an easy job

Any one keen?

Yeah, that's right, KT_HAHA seems to have access to proper PCD prototyping stuff (as opposed to the breadboard job that i would have done)

he's probably the man to do a AUDM kit!

But for the non led "i just want both red bits to light up option" anyone still game can contact me.

Mate, I am 99% sure that it will work electrically, just have to figure out how to fit the LED's into the housing. that would be the hard part...
