Hi all.

Thought i might ask some experienced folks on this before i splurge. what are you guys' thoughts on this, any and all advice and recommendations are very much appreciated. Im thinking of the following setup. For my 07 aurion presara.

New Wheels= 20"×8.5

New tyres= 245/30/20

Pedders sports rider lowered springs hope to lower by 2.5 inches

Also, ultraracing front tower strut, rear sway bar & front sway bar. Do ya reckon this will fit and handle as good as im hoping or do i have this all wrong. I eagerly await all advice.

Cheers

It will handle all right with 20's, but it would handle better with 18s in my opinion (15 years in the tyre game).

Because the height of you sidewall makes a big difference to how your car will handle. To big and the car rolls around, too small

Ans the tyre will break away easier. Either a 245/40 or 245/45/18 will give way better handling then a 20 would.

Same reason why a v8 supercar runs approx a 40 to 45 aspect ratio (they are measured in mm not like a normal road tyre)

and not super low profile things.

I agree. The pimped out look is stupid and those oversized wheels do nothing for safety or handling.

I prefer stock as i don't plan on racing my car. It's just a family cruiser with the grunt to pass others when required.
