18 inch with 40 profile tyres

Recommended Posts

Hey I currently have a set of Falken Ze-512 225/35R18 tyres on my '05 stivo.

I'm looking at getting a new set now, so I want to go to 40 profile but am worried about scrubbing, putting my speedo out an reducing the performance of my car.

Does any1 have any advice about using a 40 profile?

I have 225/40/18 no scrubbing at all

But

I haven't lowered my car yet doing it this weekend on pedders springs 30mm.

I'll let you know on Monday

That'll be fine. It's going 50mm drop that'd be the issue. Your speedo is put out, but not by much.
