Just going back to an earlier post, someone said that the Remus muffler is just as restrictive as stock... just wanted to know if this was true and why they cost so much if they offer no gains?

Looking back on what I said I was hasty and didn't provide the second part to the story. There are some full systems you can get from them which are brilliant. I've just seen reports of their axle back mufflers and people weren't impressed. They give tone and that's it 'apparently'. The cost is could be associated with materials also, because I have heard that they are very light and well built. I'm not too sure though as I'm an Apexi/Buddyclub orientated guy (and now Kazimoto thanks to bangn haha). I'm too into the JDM scene to get out of it now lol.

Looking @ someone like HiTech, there was a read about their RX8 muffler system they developed, and it WAS 11kw odd increase in power atw from JUST a muffler system. Those guys are insane.

They do REMUS and have a pretty good work ethic. Know of a few ppl here who have been very happy with the service.

Best mufflers + 1. Decent prices and good service. They actually ordered a specific set of extractors from the states for the 4a-fe (that i had found...they had no connection with them), then sent it down to melb for in/out HPC coat for me. Pretty fast too.

Yes that's them! Hahaha. He briefly told me about them. We both aren't too interested though...too $$$. Is fun to watch some clips of the systems in action though on some GTS Celicas. They scream.
