I recieved a trd rear strut bar from kcorro on friday,very quickly delivered overnight from melb to syd thanx again. Anyway it took me about 1 1/2 hours to install, i had to pull just about every bit of trim out of the boot. Its fairly easy to install just a bit of a pain cutting holes in the trim but it comes with templates so you get the holes in the right spot. Theres not a huge improvement but feels alot firmer in the rear end and with the rear swaybar it all starts adding up to a big improvement.

If i was only going to buy only one of these it would be a rear sway bar as that got rid of a fair bit of understeer, where the brace is made to stop body flex not understeer. Now i cant wait till i get my springs and shocks to test it all out :D

Hey dude, heard that you installed it in a carpark or something, just drilled the holes and screwed the bar in.

I got the sway bar from Kcorro and will put it in sometime soon. Will let you guys know how that goes.

what swaybars do you guys have?

I have heard good things about getting sway bars for Front wheel drive cars but i am not sure about it...

I emailed whiteline and they told me that there was no swaybar for the corolla 2004 as of yet.

i only have changed the rear swaybar, i got mine from whiteline i dont think the 04 model is any different but i could be wrong

you are right they are the same mechanically as the 02's they just look a bit different

      I was told jy Toyota hilux grinner 1990 2xd was rare 10 years ago. I just read in good condition they fetch around 50,000. My car is in good condition and has service history and receipts. Can anyone tell if this is true.

      2001 Toyota Camry wagon passenger side locks not working

      Had a similar issue with my 2003 Camry sedan. I'm think the mechanism might be bit stiff, so removing the door card and spraying the locking cable (the one that pushes the lock knob into the lock and unlock position on the interior door handle) with some Innox might work to loosen up the old grease and get it working again.

      2007 - floor mats

      Hi Ed, Hmm that's a tough one mate ..short of going to Toyota to get genuine and no I doubt they would laugh at you as it's a sale and money is tight right now. I am not sure if you are on Facebook or not but I have seen an advert on there for what looks like superb floor mat sets that do seem excellent quality and a wide range but like most things now they are not cheapish. My best advice is source some good quality ones and search online for someone who offers embroidery as some do tradie shirts and logos on clothing it may be worth a phone call to those sort of places as I know a local one to me does all sorts of work on many things related to embroidery or an alternative choice is the online sites like Temu...       2001 Toyota Camry wagon passenger side locks not working

      Gday, I've got a 2001 Camry wagon which has been having locking issues for a while now, just started occurring out of the blue. There is no fob so we manually unlock and lock from the driver side door, however the rear and front passenger doors consistently have issues. Either when we unlock one or both doors don't unlock and must be unlocked from inside the car, or when we lock it one or both don't lock and the car beeps. To fix that, we open the door, lock it from the inside, the lift up the handle and close the door before releasing the handle. That fixes the locking issue. When testing the locks from inside the car, I can see that they partially lock and unlock, so I'm wondering if they need to be replaced entirely or if there's some other way to fix it. Cheers

      2002 Hilux Engine Replacement

      I have a 2002 Hilux that is meant to have a 5le engine but i think it was replaced with a new engine with a turbo before i bought it. Its a different engine compared to what is in the manual - eg the alternator is at the bottom not the top as per the manual. The engine is seized - tried roll starting downhill and wheels just locked up. I cant find what the engine is. Any ideas on where I would find it? Also 5LE engines are hard to find - any ideas on what else i could put in? Does a 1KZ fit?
