Well lucky we did that run last night and not next week Mick. That run was just enough to push my brake pads right to the end of their life. I was getting some epic squealing on the last part of my drive home last night. My brake pads look a little rooted. I'm stuck at home now for the next couple of hours until someone gets back with a car so I can get myself some new pads.

I think they were a little more than sad. They were extremely cozy with the brake wear indicator. So much for Toyota picking up on its wear when I had it serviced 2000km ago. They could have mentioned they were going low.

Painting it sure is tempting, but really cant be bothered.
