How much km do you guys get from a full tank of fuel? What car and fuel used - ULP, PULP, Optimax etc Average price seems to be about $1.15/ltr for ULP. Sportivo owners have to use PULP fuels so that would cost about $1.25/ltr. So it would cost about $75 for a full tank yeah since its capacity is 60ltrs.

Even though you find a business that does make these plastic badges, i doubt they are willing to make just one. You would have to order quite alot, im talking hundreds perhaps. Because you have to think how they have to set it up and stuff.

Use microfibre towels to dry the car after washing :) I bought a Mother's Reflection Polish for $30 at Autobarn. Works great and has alot of good reviews on it. I use that and 3M Perfect-It paste wax on top and gives great shine and protection!

Reading all these complaints give me the chills. I want a Sportivo but then these problems, i wonder how i would cope with it. Especially metal to metal scrapping noise? >.<

I was searching the net and came across this picture (attached). I reckon it looks pretty nice, makes the entire dash console more dark. Thought it was carbon fibre at first but then i don't think it is. On topic, I like the new look 05 sportivo console better then the 03-04 sportivo consoles. Has that pattern in it making it more "grey" then pure shiny silver.

Ahh okies thanks for that info. Has anyone considering having dual exhaust? I would want to go for the look of the Accord Euro or Mazda RX8 exhaust look set up, looks real nice. Just two mid size exhaust tips. Not two fart cannons.

Have you guys checked out the accessories page for the corolla on the AUS toyota website where it tells you can upgrade the exhaust? Is that the stock exhaust on the Corolla Sportivo already?

Well, if anyone here has time on their hands, take our the cluster, and try to open it to find any sort of "memory" like chip. Because then perhaps the odometer info is stuck there which would mean we can't swap cluster without losing the correct odo reading. But has anyone tried ringing up a parts & service centre and ask if we change a cluster, would we lose the odometer. Play dumb or something and say u like the Levin cluster rather then the Ascent. If the odometer reading is stored in the ECU or some other seperate computer chip, then all is fine and i wouldn't mind getting the white dash from the UK, looks freaking hot.

A special edition supercharged Corolla Sportivo would be nice?

There seems to be one negative thing about this mod though, alot of dust and water may go through? Hardly brilliant.

Things i would want with my Black Sportivo are: Sports Pedal, Floor Mats, Weathershields. Then ill try to get them pour in a full tank of fuel. Hopefully a dealer can sell between $27,500-$28,000 for me :) Thanks for the tips people, im taking note of everything bit of advice.

Which state do you live in and suburb? $27500, sounds very good for the sportivo. How did you guys managed to haggle the price down? Tips n tricks people?

$27,000 drive away? Where at? I went to a dealer today to check out the cost and if i can remember, About $28,900 for the car, dealer charges $1095, Rego $250, CTP $335, Stamp Duty $909. So the on road cost is approximately $2600. In total would cost about $31600. I wonder how much further they can discount.

What does the strut brace help with exactly anyway?

Melvin, on the Sportivo it has 4 ventilated disk brakes. Has anyone got any quotes on the price for DBA slotted rotors for the Rolla Sportivo? Would be the better option of upgrading the brakes rather then spending lots on large brakes.

I just been debating with my friend that the Corolla Sportivo can hold good resale value after a few yrs and with a couple of thousand ks. He says Honda cars like DC5R hold better value and its better of me to get one since a new Sportivo would set me back $32k drive away anyway. But then again im aiming for a brand new car and i just went to a Terry Shield Toyota dealer at parra today and saw a nice white Sportivo :) So can anyone here maybe tell me if they bought a 2nd hand sportivo and for how much also with how many kms.

CAI is pretty interesting. Expensive though. I reckon it would sort of be the same if you can just get a K&N filter and use it with the stock air box, cost approx $100 for K&N filter i think. Then modify the air intake so it goes down into the hole instead of curving around back near behind the headlight. The bending of the intake slows down air flow. Id rather get the exhaust modification done first. Don't got for a fat cannon though please!
