  1. Ok boys, you can't put a poll up in the general discussions area (can we fix that?) But here wego, I'm pondering getting a 2nd car as a fun toy (to get out of my system the urge to get a convertible/coupe) and also in case I have to sell my rolla to fund a family project (then i'll have something to take me to work whilst i sort out the rolla replacement) Here are the 2 I’m considering atm. For about 3500 and it’ll take me about 1500 to fix him up to a decent road worthy condition Or this here toyota sera for $4000, and currently no idea the roadworthy costs. (i'll find out soon.) Pls also post things like parts availability and stuff like to consider? thanks guys!
  2. http://www.arcadetown.com/defendyourcastle/playgame.asp Soooo addictive!
  3. hahah OOOHh yeaahhh! That was a nice body kit that one.
  4. Interested in sellng your stivo wing if u don't need it no more? :) what color is urs anyway?
  5. AHhh but is the driver "FULGY" too? I've recently found the bright blue version of that fulgy pink car at work, its in the balck rolla got floured thread.
  6. Dude, it was a face lift, not ***** lift :D :D :D but anyhow, i think it was bigbum who told me that these can get gotten from your dealer 160 painted?
  7. Leave it white man! then go get a white grille, and white side skirts and a white spoiler!
  8. I saw one in singapore when there were still very few of them around, its was completely debaged and ran blackened lights everywhere. it looked like a full on SICK mystery car man.

  10. My crap camera didn't pick it up but its not baby blue, he's using that blue metal mesh stuff u get from autobarn. No sideskirts nd the silver altezza lights at the back with the LED blue windscreen washer thingys. It certainly is unique, the only other modded rolla in the offices around.
  11. It could be worst. Your car could have ended up like this... This poor rice brother in the office next door is misguided and now negatron is going to CHROME HIS RIDE! *Bea-atching music*
  12. hmm, an old school carby car eh? These are tough to play with on a basic level to increase the engine output. u might want to try lightened pulleys, high flow K&N filter and better spark ignition stuff (leads, dizzy cap etc.) for faster throttle response. the handling its the standard spring, damper changes and the strut bars as well. For looks, if i'm doing it, its nothin but chrome man! :D but seeing as thats not everyone's style, u can do it any other way.
  13. 200! ouch! well, let us know if its worth the money man!
  14. Hey, isn't this shark fin one just for looks? I men, it won't actually work as an antenna no?
  15. Anywhere except LANE toyota in Glen waverley, they're pushy and the price ain't good.
  16. erm, 340nm of torque? was it a typo? was it three hundred and forty? coz thats a **** load of torque.
  17. wow, good stuff, mind if i ask how much this litle excercise cost? to all the experts out there, will an auto be able to reach such results?
  18. Yeah Buddah, but how hard do u drive your auto beast? My baby's just spent 3 weeks or so living in the upper rev range and i'm starting to worry about the break pads too. how do we check them?
  19. Go do the sussy then the rims! as for coilovers or new springs... urs is an 05, so if you are a careful driver u'd prob get away with just the springs without killing ur stock dampers too much
  20. Man chrome badges dont make your car heaps chrome. Its like me putting a shirt on that has boobs on the front and calling myself a woman. If you want the be the most chromed u need to chrome your door handles, around your windows, your mirrors, get a kit with chrome inserts and maybe some nice chrome vents in your bonnet. This ofcourse added to the biggest chrome wheels u can fit into your wheel arches. And if you wanna go all out chromed engine bay. Then you will truely be chrome-worthy. ← Waayy ahead of you man, am currently waiting for a trip to asia to pick up chrome handles chrome side strips chrome wheel archs chrome pillar guards and some other custom bits already got the chrome rims (didn't want to go 18...too expensive) got the grille and zorst covered. even chrome meshing done not going to chrome up the engine bay coz there's still fiddling to be done under there. If you stare at my HIDS long enough u'll realise that they're chrome too. just keep watching my garage for the evolution of my chrome beastie welcome to the club. now post pics of your car man!
  21. Hmm, maybe i'll go too. But is this going to be nothing but holdens and fords? and what kind of after market stuff will be there? *hope* more rice? can the guys that went first give us a clue?
  22. Yeah, I miss salt... those were good days... (BEFORE the crazed asian gang fights)
  23. Hey hey, I've just plonked the stivo cat back into my car and I believe pippy and a few others on the site have done it. If your's is an auto then its been a mixed bag of results, I've initially experienced low end torque loss but its been getting better, but still have only recovered 70% of my lost low end :(. Power gain on the top end is visible tho. Manual seems to do far better.
