Hey all, Not sure how many of you would have this problem but due to the design of my short ram intake I used to get bogged down by heat soak to the pipe near the throttle body due to the radiator pipe being really close to the intake (and if u look at my garage you will see that my MAF sensor is underneth too, facing the heat of the pipe) so today I went out to get hot water pipe insulating stuff from Bunnings and insulated the top bit of the radiator pipe that faces the intake. Immediatly the performance is so much smoother and acceleration is zippier as well. I'll post pics up soon!

Hey Danz, Maybe try a really glossy black on yours eh? I'm thinking of white or red, what do you guys reakon? Oh and I saw some caliper paint in the shop, is that the right stuff? Hmm... this is going to need some organizing, I think we'll need somewhere wherer we can chill out whilst waiting for the paint to try, and perhaps a rattle gun and many blocks of wood as well. Any suggestions or contacts? or shall we just surround e-gene's cafe?

Hey all, (mods if this is in the wrong place then pls move it) But as E-gene and some of the others have suggested, why not have a day when we all get together and rip out those calipers for painting? We could share paint and degreaser to lower the cost and at the end of the day its another excuse to check out the lastest mods in each other's cars. what do you melb boys / girls reakon?

hmmm, i had this problem with my old suzuki swift, you may have just blown (or its about to blow) a fuse, either that or ur alternator is out of whack, but check and replace the fuses first

Hey V man, Yeah, it happened with mine too. Reset your ECU again if you must but its usually a combination of the ECU learning the new parts in the car and you getting used to the sounds...

Hey all, I've just got my new 17"s and they've got a set of 205/40/17 Falkens on them with about 10000kms left on them, but the load rating is 80 :( so i'm going to need new tyres that go up to 84 load rating. and cheap is good! I'm quoted 120 each for Nankings from Donellens and they'll give me like 50 each for my near new 175/70/14 dunlops (done only 1000 kms). But I think a speed camera got me last night so I'm strapped for cash. melbourne ppl, suggestions for cheap tyres?

Yeah man, its sure sounds like a blown fuse. Take everything out until the point which it last worked, then install the new fuse. You may have tapped into the wrong wire, or shorted it out by not insulating properly

I'm pretty sure these will kill ur stock dampers faster but I'll leave that to the more learned ones to fill that info. and also, will putting Stivo springs on my ascent shocks kill them quicker too?

hi all! I know they use the 1ZZE engine in the MR2, but do they have a version with VVTL-i? Would a transplant job for a 2ZZE into an MR2 be really pricey?
